ANGELICA

I screamed in fury as the bitch shoved her sword into my thigh. I jammed mine into the back of her neck and  she crumpled to the ground. I swept my hair back over my shoulder and drew my sword out of her as her wings exploded out of her back. I looked around as Laura and a few others took in deep steadying breaths. She looked at me and I nodded. We all took off, headed back to the Citadel. When we arrived I walked into the council chamber and dropped the lock on the map. Cas looked up in confusion.

“The weapons are all gone. Someone stole them.” I growled. Cas blinked and grabbed the lock.

“That isn’t possible.” He mumbled.

“YEAH WELL! It happened! And guess who was at the freakin’ hold! Rafael was extremely interested in these weapons.” I shouted. He looked up at me and I crossed my arms. “What are we supposed to do now?” I asked. He shook his head in confusion.

“I don’t understand.” He mumbled. I rubbed my face and closed my eyes. A year now of fighting in this stupid war and we were still in the dark. Cas kept telling everyone that we were on a stale mate and we would soon gain the upper hand, but he couldn’t fool me. We were losing. Our numbers were slowly but steadily decreasing and Cas was losing confidence. He was always away off to earth doing this or that. I rarely saw him, and when I did it was for council meetings or for battles. He suddenly looked up in surprise. He blinked in shock and suddenly disappeared. What the hell? The council members and I all stared in shock. What the actual fuck? I moved after him, changing midrealm, and blinked at what I saw.

Sam. My Sam, sitting there bold as brass as casual as if he had been alive all this time. His hair looked ridiculously long and he looked a bit off, like he had forgotten something or changed something. But it was Sam. Sammy. My Sam. Cas was talking to him and they hadn’t noticed me. I stood, hand over my mouth in shock. Sam.

“Hello? Hello!” He was shouting. Cas looked bewildered and I squeaked in a most feminine way and Sam turned to me. A smile spread across his face and I ran to his arms. He took me in a hug and I smiled into his chest. I missed him so much!

“Sammy! I can’t believe it! You’re alive!” I said when he finally let go. “When did you get back? HOW did you get back?” I asked.

“About a year.” He said with a shrug. I slapped him across the face and he blinked in shock.

“What the hell! We’ve been fighting a war up there and you’re alive, but don’t bother to call, or-or pray? Hell, I have to tail Cas to Earth to find out you’re alive!” I shouted in anger. He seemed surprised that I had hit him.

“Sorry, but I assumed you would be living happily in your married life.” He said. I rolled my eyes.

“Load of shit right?” Dean said from behind me. I turned around and slapped him too.

“A least he eventually called.” I snapped.  Then I pulled him into a hug.  “Oh, I missed you so much!” I said. “Look at us! Team Free Will back together again.” I said excitedly. Dean rolled his eyes and Cas looked a bit confused. Sam smirked.

“Ex-blood junkie included.” He said sassily. I laughed and punched him lightly. then I saw the hoppers.

“You guys bug hunters now?” I said dryly. Sam shook his head.

“They climbed out of a guys head.” he said. I looked up.

“Lovely.” They started arguing and talking while I watched them. My boys, the three amigos, all rounded up. I sighed and glanced at the pile of papers on the desk. Cas was beside me looking through them. He suddenly looked up as if the greatest thought in existence had struck him.

“I think we can rule Moses out as a suspect.” I blinked. I was married to this guy. Dean seemed to be thinking the same thing since he glanced at me in a worried way.

“Well, what’s Chuck Heston’s disco stick doing down here anyway? I mean, don’t you guys put away your toys?” Dean asked. I rolled my eyes.

“Some ass hole with a major problem stole the weapons of heaven.” I said. They looked at me. “I was there. The gates were thrown wide open and the chain was shattered. Only an angel could do that, and now we’ve lost the only advantage we might have had.” I said darkly.

“Advantage?” Dean asked. Cas began to explain about the war and the caos above.

“I need your help.” He said at length. That was big for him, he had been trying so hard to stand as a pillar of strength for the war and here he was asking the boys for help. Sam didn’t see it that way.

“Oh. That’s rich.” He said. Cas threw the hoppers at Sam and he easily caught the jar.

“Sam, my ‘people skills’ are a little ‘rusty’, but I have just spent the last year as a wavelength of celestial intent, and believe me you do not want that weapon down here.” he said, using quotation marks around his words. I sighed and walked over to him placing a hand on his shoulder.

“What he means is, get your heads out your asses and help everyone. Some idiot is handling the stick and we need it back, and you need it gone.” I said clearly. Dean and Sam nodded awkwardly and I smirked. “Wow. You’re just ALL my bitches, aren’t you?”
