Logan took me outside to the limo put me in it and told me to wait here both would be back in a few minutes

I sat in the Limo waiting for them , I texted Hailey and told her the events of the evening so far
I was responding to her when the doors open to the limo , Both of them climbed in
The limo began to move but neither spoke not even after we made it back to the club

Once the limo stopped again We got out , Logan took my hand and led me up the back way to the apartment Sal was very quite

The elevator opens to their apartment Logan motions for me to go first so I do

A phone rings and I hear Sal answer it

" Yes "
" Send it over "

Sal hung up his phone

" Riley , Did Dillion come into any Money during the time you were together "

" Yeah he said he won some money when he went to Vegas about 6 months ago "

" How much "

" I think he said 500,000 "

" Did he mention which casino "

" No he just said he won he gave me some to pay off my student loan but I paid him back in full "

" 15 thousand, a couple of weeks ago he demanded the money all of it so I had to sell my great grandmothers diamond ring and my car , which is a good thing I work couple of blocks from the Hospital and Hailey has a Car"

" You sold you car and Diamond ring , what kind of car " Logan Asked

" It was a 2014 Jeep Wrangler it had over 100,00 miles on it but it was new to me but I didn't get to keep it long and the Diamond made up most of the money it brought 10,000 the Jeep brought 8,000 Well it actually brought 10,000 but I put the rest away for a rainy day I paid him off "

" Kitten you cant walk to work all the time what if it rains or snows it's not safe " Logan said

" Hey I have to do what I have to do besides most of time Hailey and I work the same shifts so I ride with her and if I don't I do take a cab or get a ride with one of the Doctors " I say defending myself

Both Sal and Logan looked at each other not saying a word but I could tell they were communicating with each other

" Why are you asking me this " I asked

" Because it seems your Ex got himself involved with the Mob , that is one of the reasons he married That girl because he thinks That it would make it harder for them to come after him and he would also be marrying into money , What he doesn't understand is the Mob doesn't care " Sal said

" Yes Mon Minou I do and I'm glad he married that thing because it got you out of danger for the most part , Seems he didn't give the money you gave him to the Mob Boss he owed but that's been taken care off so they will leave you alone "

" I paid what you owed Dillion directly to them in exchange for them to leave you out of this if they don't they will not like the repercussions" Sal said

" I don't understand how they would have know I had some of the money "

" Oh they knew they had people out watching what he did and it was a Red Flag when you paid off what was left of your loan , And why was it so high you didn't do a four yr school " Logan Asked me
