Chapter 4 : Finally Realizing
I awoke the next morning, first thing I thought about, was him. I looked over to Tara who was on her phone as she slowly woke. I took my phone to check the time, it was 9:30, I got a message, from Avi. Blushing now, I read it, "Good morning Sleeping Beauty:)" he really likes me...
Tara saw that I was up, and immediatly got up and excitedly pounced onto my bed. "Woman, you never texted me back, what happened?" I explained what happened, sleeping on the tour bus, to mine and Avi's first kiss. "Oh my gawd babes, he really likes you," she said with a crooked smile on her face. "Do you like him? Like really like him? Cause obviously you like him, if you kissed him," she made herself comfortable on my bed.
"I think I do, I mean I only met him two days ago," I said looking at our first picture together on my phone. I remembered to text him back, "Good morning Avi:) How're you?"
"Well that's what dates and hanging out is for babes," Tara said looking faintly at my phone. She took my phone from my hands. I struggled with her to get it back, but finally giving in I just let it go. With a smile she handed my phone back.
"What did you do.." I said looking through my phone.
"You'll thank me," she got up from my bed and walked out of the room.
I looked in my messages to Avi, Tara sent him a text, "When can I see you again?" at first my jaw dropped out of frustration, then suddenly a messaged popped up.
"Tonight? if you're not busy?:)" Avi wanted to see me again.
"Okay:) where?" I texted back. With a smile on my face I pretended to be mad at Tara. I stormed out of the room to the living room, "Tara you texted Avi?" I couldn't keep a straight face, a smile kept twitching onto my face.
"Ummm, that's not what you should be saying to me, I should be hearing a thank you," she joked.
"Avi? From Pentatonix?" Collette asked. I nodded. "Holy crap, you got his number?"
"Yepp, and took him to Disneyland, and slept on their tour bus, AND kissed him last night," Tara bragged.
Collette's jaw dropped. Then she squealed with a big smile. "Oh my gawd, what an awesome birthday!" she joked. She gave me a hug and plopped herself on the couch. Stacy heard the conversation from her bedroom.
"You did it?" she said gitty with a big smile on her face. I nodded, I walked to the kitchen and made myself some coffee. "I told you he liked you!" she teased.
My phone sounded off in my room, I set my coffee cup on the counter and excitedly ran to my phone. Avi texted back. "Well if it's okay with you my apartment? I have a really good dinner planned:)" at first it scared me, going to his apartment on the third day of knowing him, but it's Avi. So I agreed. Because that's good enough reasoning for me.
"Okay, send me your address:)" I texted back this time bringing my phone with me I walked back in the kitchen with my head head high and a big smile.
"What is it," Tara said waiting.
"I'm going to see him tonight for dinner," I said excitedly. Everyone gave me a big smile, being happy for me.
"What are you gonna wear?" Tara asked. My big smile disappeared realizing, I haven't had any nice clothes, let alone gone on a date in a long time. "Get ready, we're gonna go shopping," She said with a big smile on her face.
