"What the hell" I said so pissed of that my parents were trying to destroy my life. There is this gigantic party coming up. Everyone in our school is going. I am a junior in High School. My parents shouldn't have to tell me what I can't & can't do. Like hello I'm 16 years old, almost 17. I shouldn't be treated like a baby.

"I'm sorry honey, but I don't feel this party is good for a kid like you to go to. Drinking, drugs, and even more unresponsible teenagers. Those are not good mixes." my mom said and every word that came out of her mouth made me hate her even more. Not all teenagers are unresponsible. I mean look at me. I get good grades, perfect attendiance since before I can remember. I'm the most responsible teen out there, and have never done anything like this before.

"Please, mom. I promise I will be home before one." I was begging to my mother hoping to change her mind.

"Why do you have to go so bad. It's just a party." mother said in her I'm serious tone.

"Just a party, Just a party. It isn't called midnight madness for a reason. It's the party of the centry. People come from different hight schools to be here. This is my fist year when I can go. I'm almost 17 mom you have to trust me sooner or later. I'm not going to be your little girl forever. You have to let me grow. See new things." I said with I'm an adult face, so please let me go.

"I'm not sure, let me think about it" she said, and that totally means yes. She had that gulty look on her face. Like she new I had to grow up sooner or later. Just sooner than she expected.

"Kay, but please give me one when I get home from school." I said, but proably shouldn't have because when I walked out the door, and turned around she gave me the stare of Don't push it.

As I walked into school I couldn't stop thinking about. These ideas started rushing through my head. What to wear, and acceriours to go with it. I am just so excited. Hopefully my mom gets some sense, and lets me go.

"Lizzy, Lizzy" I heard my best friend, Amanda, said from behind me. "I have some great news. My paretns said I could go the midnight madness."

"That's great but my mom hasen't gaven me the actual okay yet, but she is going to give me the answer tonight when I get home, and hopfully it's a yes." I said with excitement all up in my face.

"Yes. You have to go. I can't go by myself." my best friend said hoping the answer would be yes.

"I know. But sorry got to go. Spanish time. Got a spanish quiz, and I will totally fail. See ya." I said has I walked down the hall.

School was finally over. As I was walking to my car I felt like something was watching me or following me. It was the strangest feeling ever. I turned around, and nothing was there. I was in freaked out mode. Started walking faster, and faster, and faster. I finally reached my car. I got in it, and drove away.

As I was driving down the road. I felt that felling again, and every corner I turned I saw the same person everytime walking. At stop light, and stop signs. I had no idea what was going on.

Finally I reached home. Ran inside, and saw my mom sitting at the table. She looked disappointed.

"Hey mom" I said in a quit tone. Almost a whisper.

"I have decided you can go to Midnight Madness Party." she said. But has she said it. She had one of those tones. Like she was there, but the words that I heard weren't what she wanted to say. Like somebody told her to say them. I was sort of freaked. Not noing what the hell was happening here.

"Are you serious? I can go." I said with excitment, but still freaked.

"Yes. I have changed my mind. It's fine with me."
