The Thief that Runs in the Night
Hello!!! It's me again. I have decided that I am going to be getting rid of all my other books and just focusing on this book. I lost my passion for the other books, but I will do my best on this one. The schedule for updates will be whenever I can write. So, without further ado, let's get this book started!
Here is a little excerpt from it:
The year was 2349. It was a cold day for the winter at least. With our new technology that prevented us from our freedom of thought, we could be killed for thinking something bad about the government. Some people believed however that they could break through these mind devices and end this reign. They were called The Thieves of The Night. The Thieves of The Night where people who were trying to overthrow the governments control over mind controlling devices. Why is this bad? Well let me explain. When these robots first came out, people wanted to know why these came out. Our government wasn't exactly the best. They would always try and corrupt everyone with whatever mind device that could create. Our leaders where the ones who were the first to break the device. There are a few hundred of us that could break the device. A long time ago with some old leaders, they received a prophecy from one of our immoral leaders. (That's a story for another time) That prophecy said that one day, a child born in 2336 would help in the battle that all of us call War of Independence. This will be the battle that determines whether we have our freedom or not. This child was rumored to be the bravest of us all. Unfortunately, that child has the whole weight of this one their back. That child is Me.
