(Image used in cover photo does not belong to me. It belongs to it's rightful owner)This is an unedited short story that I wrote back in Jr. High. So awhile ago.
I wanted to share this story because this was the story that made me realize how much I loved writing.
Here's a little backstory.
In my English class we had an assignment to write a 3 page short story on whatever we wanted. Now, back then, I hated writing of any kind. I looked at it all like an assignment, so it wasn't fun. But I gave this one a chance.
So I started writing about something I found interesting, and I couldn't stop!
My "3 page" short story turned into 16 pages! And, if I was being honest, I could have kept going if it wasn't for the fact that it was supposed to be "short"and I was already past that limit!
Well, I turned in the assignment and got a lot of praise from my teacher at the time. So I felt really good and I wanted to do more!
That's when I realized how much I loved to write YA Fantasy Romance, and how much writing was an outlet for me.
I have always been nervous to share my work with ANYONE. So that's why I wanted to share this before I post anything new that I've been working on. It's unedited. It's old. It's from when I first started writing and had no idea what I was doing. But I found something I loved. So to anyone who is scared that their work isn't good enough or that people won't like it, this is for you. I've been there, and I still am most of the time!
Let's share this experience together!
