ch. 15 The New Hokage

**SECOND TO LAST CHAPTER**

Obito and Rin settled in a underground house that was near the leaf as the village was being rebuilt. One major thing that is happening that day was choosing their new hokage.

Obito and Rin was excited for it, because they voted and wanted to see the new hokage. They looked at each other and smiled. They got their stuff together and got Kou and left the house to go to the event.

When they got there, a few anbu came up to Obito and took him into the closed off are, while nobody was looking.

"Hey! Where you taking me?!" Obito barked at the men who was dragging him.

"Shh! People voted for you to be hokage, get it on now!" One of them said handing him the robe and hat. He quickly changed into his robe.

"Ladies and gentlemen please welcome your new hokage... Obito Uchiha!" The speaker says as Obito steps up. He hears claps from everyone. Some are shouting of joy. And others are disappointed.

Obito smiled and waved at everyone. He was excited that he got to have the opportunity to be the hokage and work with so many great people.

"During the attack, he showed courage and risked almost all his life for children that were injured or lost. Although he couldn't stop the attacker, he showed love to the person who did." The speaker said as the people got louder. "Obito? Do you have anything to say about this?"

"Yes, I do. First of all, I would like to thank all of you! This has been a dream come true and I'm excited to say that The leaf village will be rebuilt and become new! I promise to you that I'll protect the village from any attacks the best I can! I'm doing for you all! Thank you!" Obito yelled down looking at all of them in their eyes.

"Thank you for that wonderful speed of yours! It brought tears to our eyes." The speaker said dismissing him to his wife. Obito got there, and he looked at her face.

She was proud of him, that she gave him a hug and a peck on the lips. She smiled.

"Congrats, Obito-kun!" Rin said giving Kou to Obito. Obito held Kou in his arms and kissed his little forehead.

"Thanks." Obito said giving her a kiss on the cheek.
