Chapter Nine

Ash's POV 

"We're home!" I said and went inside of Maddy's house.

I didn't want to think about leaving her yet. I want to be here with her forever. Just me and her, no one else. 

"Where is that horrible girl?" Calum asked and looked around for my beautiful girl.

"I'm not sure. And she's not horrible. She's sweet, and adorable." I said.

"Says the guy who cried over her, like nine times." He stated and I flipped him off.

"I'll go ask Luke." I said and went to Luke's room. 

I knocked on the door and asked who it was. I said me, and he opened the door with a smile.

"Hey Ash! Nice to see you back!" He said cheerfully.

"What happened to you?" I asked.

"There's this girl Maddy set me up with, her name is Salem. She's absolutely amazing!" He bragged.

"That's cool, where's Maddy?" I asked annoyed.

"She went to check on Michael." He said and got a text. "Ooo! It's her!" He said and typed on his phone quickly. I rolled my eyes and went to Michael's room. 

(Prepare yourselves...)

"What the literal hell!" I yelled when I opened Michael's door. 

"Get." Maddy struggled to say. "Get off of me Michael! Dammit!" She said and kicked him and he got off of her. 

"What the literal hell." I said again, a little more angrily. 

"Ash?" Michael said, but Maddy said my full first name.

I faked a smile. "Well, that's cool. I'm just gonna go. Goodbye." I said and turned around and left.

"Ash!" Maddy yelled after me. She grabbed my arm and I shook her off.

"Go away. Seriously, haven't you done enough already?" I stated and left the house.

Maddy's POV 

"Go away. Seriously, haven't you done enough already?" He said and left. That left me speechless. Tears fell from my face.

"Oh, he's gone." Michael and Calum said. Anger raged through me.

"What the hell is wrong with you Michael! I fucking hate you!" I screamed, while crying. 

"I didn't mean for that to happen..." He said quietly.

"Didn't mean for that to happen! Well it fucking did! What are you going to do about it now that it did?" I screamed.

"What's with-" 

"Shut the hell up, Luke! I'm not in the mood right now!" I screamed at the innocent Luke who came into the room. "That's it. I'm done with you fucking Five Seconds Of Summer boys. Get the hell out of my house!" I screamed and they all left besides Luke. I glared at him but he didn't move.

"What happened?" He asked.

"Why should you care?" I asked bitterly.

"Because you were nice to me. And I should be nice to you." He said. "Plus, you're pissed. Maybe I could help." He added.

I told him all that happened; about how Ashton now hated me, and how Michael ended up kissing me out of no where and making it seem like I was kissing.

"Oh, wow. That was cold. That doesn't sound like something Michael would do though. I mean, Michael is annoying, and childish, and rude. But he would never do that." Luke said.

"Well he did." I said bitterly.

"And Ash actually really likes you. I guess it could be called love or whatever, but he wouldn't hate you. He's mad. You need to go talk to him, before he tries something stupid, like revenge." Luke said and got up.

"Thanks, Luke. I really appreciate it." I thanked him.

"Hey, you introduced me to Salem, the most wonderful girl I ever talked to. It's the least I could do." He said and went back to his room.

I got up and ran out of the house to try to find Ashton.

I went to the cafe. Nope.

I went to all the stores. Nope.

I looked in the park. He wasn't there either. I sat down under the tree he and I sat under that night before everything happened. I started to cry.

Hours passed and it was getting dark. But I didn't care. I just stayed there, crying. The people were passing by, some asked what was wrong but I ignored them. 

Soon enough, I was out of tears. I just closed my eyes and put my head against the tree trunk.

"I don't think it'd be safe to fall asleep out here. At least, not alone." Ashton's voice said in front of me. My eyes shot open and I looked up at the handsome man in front of me.

"Ashton..." I said quietly.

"You okay, beautiful?" He asked and sat next to me.

I smiled and answered with, "I'm great, now that you're here." We laughed and smiled.
