Watching her smile and laugh makes my heart jump in pure joy. I keep looking at her while she’s telling how her day was. With those gestures and facial expressions, I cannot hide my amusement thinking how lucky I am to be with this girl.
“After that, she’s- Hey! You’re not listening” she caught me staring at her, she then slap my arm and cross her arms. I cannot help myself, I burst to laughter.
After sometime, I calm myself. She’s now rolling her eyes which she usually does whenever she’s starting to get irritated.
“I’m sorry, it’s just that you’re so beautiful” I said while looking directly in her eyes. She blushed and looks down. I carefully hold her face to lift it until our eyes met
“I love you. I really do.”
She just stares at me for few seconds.
“I… I love-“ I cut the words she’s about to say
“And I’m letting you go” My hands starts to tremble
I remove my hands from holding her and face the sea in front us. I tried to hold my tears but they didn’t just cooperate this time.
The waves didn’t calm me down, I keep on crying. She doesn’t utter a single word.
With shaking voice, I tell her the things that I keep for so long.
“I’ve always dream of having a bright future with you” I clear my throat as if there’s something in there which make it hard for me to speak.
“You know, our plans” I tried to laugh but I end up sobbing.
“I cannot fulfil the plans we made” I wipe my tears even though I know it won’t stop.
I face her, she’s now crying. And it breaks me seeing her like this.
“I’m letting you go because I know that the plans you and I made are cannot be done.” She hold my hands, her eyes are filled with so much emotions.
“It cannot be done by me since you want it to fulfil by somebody else” she hugged me, crying really hard while saying sorry.
