Chapter 4. Suprize hits the eyes

Hey guys I really love this story, but I'm certainly not trying to brag. Just trying to make it super good for you guys :)

I lay in Jakes bed with my eyes half open, seeing Jake laying next to me with his yes staring straight at me.

I let out a huge squeal and his jumps straight up and is shocked from my squeal.

"Omg did I lean on you or something did I hurt you?" wonders Jake.

"Oh um.. No it's just did you stay there the whole night?" I ask.

"No I am not that bad, you know I actually do listen to you and your rules" he explains.

" and I'm certainly not someone to push things" he smiles.

"Your such a weirdo but I love you since your my bestfriend haha" we laugh.

I get up out of his bed hardly remembering what happened last night, surprisingly since I didn't drink.

I screamed as I realised I didn't have my clothes that I needed for today.

"Hey Jake can you drive me to my house so I can get my clothes for today?" I cry.

"Hey don't worry Hun well have enough time to get to school, don't stress!" He says.

I laugh at the fact him calling me Hun, I guess..I'm just trying to fit in.

I stay in what I slept in and walk to the front door with him, we walk out and head to the car.

The slightest breeze hits me and I shiver, Jake looks down at me and smiles.

He pulls his hands out and pulls my waist into him, I push him away and he falls to the ground.

He fake cry's and I laugh at him, he pouts his bottom lip and pulls it back in after 5 seconds.

He puts his arm out and I reach in to grab it, I grabbed it and soon after he pulls me to the ground.

"Ow that hurt" I cry.

"Aw I'm sorry did that actually hurt you?" He laughs.

"Yeah you know I'm actually very skinny and I've got no muscle" I explain.

"Your a weakling but a cute one" he smirks.

We both get up off the ground and get into his car, we pull up at my house and I open the door.

He begins to take his seatbelt off, "no wait don't come in she doesn't know about you" I say.

"Um alright?" He says with confusement.

I smile to reasure him and he smiles back.

I walk up to the door and open the door handle, I walk in and I see mum standing there.

"Hey mum I'm back" I smile.

"Hey I'm in a rush so I can't talk but I'll see you this arvo, if your not coming make sure you tell me ok" she strains.

"Alright mum this time I promise I won't forget" I say.

I walk up to my room and I quickly get dressed into the outfit I chose at the shops.

I walk outside the door and lock the door behind me I walk to the door waiting to see Jake waiting outside the car.

What's he doing out of the car? I hope he wasn't talking to my mum before.

He dog whistles at me, " you look great Ash" he smirks.

"Oh shut up Jake, why are you out of the car?" I ask.

"Turns out your mum is really nice, she likes me" he laughs.

"Haha wow that's great now she'll let me come over whenever" I explain.

"Your gonna come over heaps of times?" He asks.

"Well yeah that's what bestfriends do" I laugh.

we drove off and eventually got to school we got to the corner of the school and me and Jake walked in together.

I'm still really confused that Jake kissed me two times but he still has a girlfriend.

we walked through the gates everyone was staring at me.

It was really confronting and a bit uncomfortable Jake moved away and so did I.

Melissa ran over to me and pulled my arm.

"Ow Mel what's going on why's everyone staring at me?" I ask.

"Ok you won't believe this but you have to be careful, some how Jakes girlfriend Jessica knows about you and him kissing at the party" she says worriedly.

"She's really mad at you so make sure you stick by me at all times possible" she shouts.

"Alright I promise I'll try but you know I'm not a baby I can defend myself" I laugh.

the bell rings and everyone slowly walks to class I walk to my first period and everyone is gone actually I don't see anyone?

I slowly walk almost at my class when suddenly, BAM! Someone pushed me into the wall and the person thats standing right infront of my happens to Jessica.

"What do you want Jessica?" I ask.

"What I want is for you to stay away from my boyfriend (Jake) " she shouts.

"Um I haven't..I won't..we don't- she cuts my studdering off.

A pounding sensation hits my head when it bounces up against the wall.

It feels like the whole world has stopped and there's nothing alive or moving.

I can't see anything? Everything's blurry?

I fall to the ground which feels like I'm falling in slow motion.

I soon wake up and I see all these girls standing there smirking.

Me trying to stand whilst feeling really weak I pull myself together.

"Look at her, she's weak as and can't even defend one punch" I here someone say.

I'm really confused and feel drunk at least I think this is what drunk feels like?

I feel someone pick me up by the stomach, the persons hands were as warm as a warm shower.

"Are you ok?" They ask.

I don't know who it is because I clearly can't see through my bloody eye.

Jessica Rodelle has just punched me in the eye.

I slowly look around and see heaps of people come running over to me I look around with one eye very confused on what had just happend and soon after that I see black.

It was pitch black I couldn't see anything I felt my body hit the dirty school floor and my body half shut down.

Next thing you know I'm awake in the nurses office.

I scream and I start crying, the salty tears running down my face start stinging my eye.

I put my hand to my eye and I put it back down and notice there's blood on my hands.

Jake runs in with a shocked expression on his face.

"Are you alright Ash? What happend to you?" He asks whilst giving me a hug.

"I'm fine I think I really can't remember I think Jessica punched me" I cry scared.

"Don't worry I dumped her it's gonna be alright I'm here for you" he says.

His touch and comfort is so reassuring I just love how he's so caring.

I don't know what I'm gonna do about this Jessica thing though?

"Don't worry bub you've got me" he smiles.

Omg guys so can you believe Jessica has punched Ash this is not good at all :(

Will things get better? Who knows, this has been an emotional chapter so far
