"I wish that people would stop discriminating me just because I want to be a girl" said Drew as he walked onto the field. " I can play football just as good as anyone here." Don't you agree Hank? asked Drew.
Hank is Drew's best friend. Hank is 19yrs old and cared about everything Drew had to say. Drew is 17yrs old and wants to become a female ballerina.
"Hey, Drew honey catch" said Jacob. Jacob is 22yrs old, always teases Drew and thinks that he is the best. "Hank are you going to treat me the same when I'm a girl." said Drew
Hank was speechless for words "I-I-I don't know probably but I couldn't say for sure." Drew ran off the field to the locker room, where Hank found him in a corner crying.
"Drew are you OK?"Hank asked. "What do you want? You obviously don't care about me or my feelings" said Drew.
"My surgery is in a couple days and all you can think about is what game your going to play next. Well that's fine I don't need you Hank. Go play your precious video games."
Drew walked left and didn't acknowledge a single word Hank had to say. When Drew arrived at home he went straight to his room and slammed the door. He yelled "FUCK" at the top of his lungs.
All I wanted was a friend I could have by my side, somebody I could trust, somebody that really cared about my feelings. The next day Hank called Drew 39 times, not once did Drew answer.
Later that afternoon at football practice, Hank caught up with Drew. "Drew why have you been ignoring my calls, I called you 39 times?"
"I've been ignoring your calls because you've been ignoring my feelings!"
"Drew but I haven't been ignoring your feelings, it's just that things will be different when your a girl." "I've always known you as a boy."
"Really you mean it Hank, you care about me?" "Yes, Drew I do care about you very much. I would die to keep you alive."
"Now come on, let's go get some ice-cream!" Drew and Hank left practice and went to the ice-cream shop down the street.
When they arrived at the ice-cream shop Drew went and grabbed a table while Hank ordered. "That will be $7.99." said the guy behind the till.
"Hank how much did that cost?" "$7.99, they raised the price. I wonder why?"
"NOT Enough business!" said some Homeless guy who grabbed Drew's ice-cream and ran out the door.
Drew pondered what the homeless dude had said. "Not enough business, we come here all the time!"
"Come on Hank let's go!" Hank and Drew had only got halfway back to school when a car drove by and started shooting at them.
Hank had knew who those guys were and they weren't friendly.
"Run Drew, that's the baddest gang in all of Philadelphia. Their called "The Philadelphia Bloods." They catch you and your pretty much guaranteed death!"
Drew and Hank jumped fence over fence to try and get away from the gang. Finally they managed to reach the football field. When they arrived coach
started questioning them on where they were. "Hey, coach sorry we didn't show up" said Drew. "Now boys you know this isn't tolerated, where were you?"
Hank spoke up before Drew had a chance to "We went and got ice-cream."
Hank had left out no detail on what happened on their way back. "On our way back we got shot at by the baddest gang in all of Philadelphia, "The Philadelphia Bloods."
