-Lilith's POV-
Laying in bed was a bore, Alex decided that I had shed enough tears and him and Cole made a mutual agreement that my punishment was no phone or tv for a week. As per usual I was sat book in hand engrossed in the pages. The book 'hero' it's amazing (recommend it 😉) its emotion and physiological. With its flashbacks and use of structure and language its hard to deny its a bad book. Books however were often a distraction, I finished the short novel hero in a small period of time due to my constant reading of it night after night. In fear of being bored again i pulled another more hefty book from my shelf 'the yard' more dark and sinister and i had yet to finish it. It was exciting and trilling and i adored it. Hours had probably passed by now as I continued to engross myself in the pages and pages.
Then...
Knocking at the door

Sh*t (pg)

One part of the agreement me Cole and Alex made was that i was to clean my room. How did i forget!
Xander entered my room.
"Lily why isn't your room cleaned up now?" He asked as he towered over me with a questioning however knowing look laced on his face.
"I was reading im sorry I'll get it done now" i said hanging my head in shame
"Well you better hurry dinners in 30 minutes and Alex wants your room spotless by then" he left. I ran around my room, scurrying. I held my head in my hands as i finished. Why did i have to forget. Cole had just called that Dinner was ready and i knew Alex would scold me for rushing my cleaning job. Im sure Xander would've told him that I hadn't done it and that he had to remind me, brownie points was all he really cared about. As i came down the stairs i saw it the most disgusting meal on earth in my place. Soup (sue me i hate the stuff).
"Can i have a chicken sandwich instead" i asked politely
"No" Alex said coldly
"But I dont like soup please" i begged
"I said no now eat" Alex said whilst his eyebrows began to knit together. For the rest of dinner i sat there unable to bring myself to eat it. They all one by one began to leave the table once finishing.
"Hey Alex please may i be excused?" I asked quietly
"No not until you eat all the soup" he said leaving me alone with the soup.
"And if you dare move you know what will happen"

It had been hours like hell i wasnt eating that soup it was cold now anyways. I just sat there watching the clock it was around 7:30 at the moment how much longer will i be here.

It was 1 in the fucking morning and i was sat in a chair with soup in-front of me. This is ridiculous however i am not risking going up against Alex's wrath.

I must have fell asleep as i woke up to the twins in my face.
"Hey Marie?" Oscar asked hand on my shoulder as i woke up. My back killed from the hard wooden chair.
"He kept her here all night thats awful!" Olly all most yelled. I still sat in the chair i ain't budging. I glanced back at the clock 9 in the morning. That was a long night.
Alex entered eyes wide

-Alex's POV-
She sat in that chair all night now i feel like a complete asshole. Lilith looked terrible she looked stiff and uncomfortable hurt and tired. I went towards her and held her weak body in my arms lifting her up. The twins nodded as i carried her upstairs to her room she needed some proper rest after that. By the time i laid her down she was sound asleep. I tucked her in and switched the lights off.

"I wish you didn't hate me so much"

i murmured as i left the room closing the door slowly behind me.
