6. So Stressed

Hey God,

It's Caty.

So story time:

My Mom's Mom (I will call her grandma) went into the hospital the other day for a UTI. Grandma has Alzheimer's and my Mom's step Dad (call him Granddad) has been watching her. While my Granddad was at the hospital watching Grandma, he passed out. It turns out he had a massive heart attack and at first the doctors didn't think he was going to make it. But now he is doing much better and the doctors say he will make a full recovery. But he will have brain damage and can't take of care of Grandma any more. So Grandma is going to a rehab place to learn to walk (she can't walk right now) and then she will go to a nursing home. Grandma went to rehab today. Granddad is being woken up tomorrow at 6 in the morning so the doctors think he will recovery.

Dear God,

I want to THANK YOU for Granddad getting better. I pray tomorrow that he wakes up great and makes a full recovery.

Please be with Grandma as she goes to rehab and help her be able to walk again.

Also another story time:

My Mom has a brain tumor that she found out she had many years ago. It has never caused her any problems and it's not cancerous so they never took it out. Well last year she has had such horrible migraines she had to even go to the hospital. She saw a brain surgeon last week. He said he can take the tumor out, it might help with her migraines but he doesn't know for sure. He said it is not a risky surgery but if it grows any bigger it will be. So the brain surgeon gave my Mom the choice to have surgery or don't, it's up to her. She has decided she wants to have surgery.

Lord,

I pray you be with the doctors, nurses, and her when she does have surgery (she doesn't know when she will). I pray that removing this tumor DOES cure her migraines. I pray you be with her because it has been so hard for her with Granddad almost dying and her facing surgery. I pray you wrap your arms around her and help her.

Now about me:

Dear God,

My fibromyaglia pain is horrible. I am in so much pain and nothing seems to help. I pray that when I go see the chiropractor on Friday that he just works miracle and I get to feeling better. God, please give me a miracle for my pain. I know I will never be pain free but help my pain get better.

Now I have started back college this week, please help me not to get to stressed with college and over all that is going on in my family. Help me have a good mood.

I pray you be with my friends, family, followers, readers, and everyone who needs you. Help us all to grow closer to you. You know everyone's needs Lord, I pray you help us.

I thank you for my close relationship with you. Help me to keep writing good devotionals for you. Help my writing bring you glory and not me.

I thank you for all my many blessings and for Your Son.
