Nobody's POV
It was already midnight and Edd was getting worried about Tom. Tom hasn't come back after a fight he had with Tord which most likely pissed Edd off because how he liked Tom. Yes, he never told anybody but he decided it to be that way.
Suddenly, the door opened slowly and stood a beaten up, sniffling Tom. Edd then ran up to him and shut the door and locked it.
"T-Tom! Are you okay?!" Edd asked, Tom nodded slightly and shoved past Edd trying to get to his room, his legs shaky, but Edd grabbed his wrist and brung the small brit towards him. "Tom, please tell me what happened" Edd said and cupped Tom's face and examining it. He had a bleeding nose, a busted lip and bruised 'eye'. The look on his face shocked Edd and then he hugged him tightly. "Tom please tell me what happened?" Edd asked. Tom hesistated for a few moments but finally said something "U-um.. well, I got into a f-fight with a guy and h-he brought his g-gang.. then.. they.." Tom started to cry but it got muffled due to him digging his face into Edd's hoodie. Edd sighed sadly then started to pet Tom's soft hair. "Sshh, it's okay, everythings fine now.." Edd whispered, comforting Tom due to his motherly instincts.
Edd then picked Tom up bridal style and brought Tom to his room. laying him down on the bed and kissing him on the forehead, noticing how Tom's asleep. "Goodnight, tommy, love you" Edd muttered and left his room and shutting the door, and going to his own to have his rest.
