Hi guys! This is my first fanfic so don't expect anything brilliant hah! I'll try to be careful with spelling but I type fast sorry, please point out any mistakes you see. Also there WILL be smut, swearing and sensitive topics in this fanfic! You've been warned. Also most things in this fic are made up including friends and just basic facts. I sort of have an idea where this is going but if you want to suggest anything feel free!

Anyway enjoy:3

This is getting embarrassing. I wish the 'Kiani' shippers would stop. Kiani is not real. Yes I egged it on at first, but I can't do it anymore. They have to understand this. I have to understand this.

*bing* New mention, it's Jordan. '@kiingtong Jump on Skype? Just for a hour or so' we're just friends, well, he's my best friend, I think he thinks of me as his best friend as well.. I hope. '@xbayani sure bud' I reply simply. I sit on my couch for a moment excited he wants to talk, I wonder what he wants. A collab? Just a chat? Talk about PAX? Oh please don't be about PAX Prime. I don't want to think about it. I should be excited, but I'm not. I walk slowly to my room over thinking mostly everything as per usual.

I turn my computer on and log into Skype. Jordan's online already so I ring. He almost immediately answers. I watch the screen change from blue to his flawless face.

"Hey bud" he says adjusting his mic settings.

"Hey, what's up?"

"I thought we could open our packages together! Seen as they are from each other! Plus you've been waiting a while for mine to arrive." He beams a smile.

"Oh right yeah!" I smile back. Shit I completely forgot about that. I grab the package from the side of my desk. It's huge, roughly the same size as the one I sent Jordan so I can't complain he got me too much. I turn back to the screen to see Jordan waiting.

"Sorry!!" I say.

"You apologise too much, it's fine dood. Come on, let's open it at the same time. Ready? 1.. 2.. 3.. Go!" We both dive in ripping the duct tape off the boxes. It's packed perfectly, each thing slots in nicely. I just stare for a while. Jordan has touched these things but I've never touched Jordan. I shiver at the thought.

"Weird huh?" I hear from the screen.

"Yeah.. Uhm I think it's messing with my brain." I admit.

"We'll meet soon pal, don't worry." We both take out the first thing, surprisingly both t-shirts. We both laugh. I rip my top off and pull Jordan's top over my head, I give it a gentle sniff. "God Jordan, you stink" I joke. He just laughs while still struggling to put mine on with the box on his lap. "Same for you, what is that? Have you never showered? There's a thing called soap." We both start laughing again. Once we calm down we get the next thing out. My next thing is Jordan's favourite film, Mulan, he's always telling me to watch it. Jordan's next thing is an A5 poster of our faces edited together with different things that symbolise us. Jordan stares at it for ages. "I-I love it!! This is going right here" he gestured to behind him. I shot a happy smile, I'm glad he likes it, it took like a month of Photoshop and tips off Jwong. We continue to go through the box pulling them out one by one, mostly just things that will remind us of each other. After we finish he suggests both putting Mulan on at the same time so we can "watch it together". I set it up on my tv and we both count down together then press the play button.

"Hey Jord?, thank you.." I say slowly.

"For what?" He looks confused but hasn't took his eyes off the TV.

"For being my best friend. Even if you don't consider me yours, we live so far away yet I've never felt closer to someone" I say looking down.

"I love you man. Of course you're my best friend too. Although I feel like calling you only best friend doesn't cover it. We need a strong word to explain our friendship." He replies.

"My mom called us soul mates," I say weakly, but not lying, "soul mates are when one soul is spilt into two different people, we're destined to be close together."

"Soul mates" he smiles. We sit in total silence just appreciating each other's company and enjoying the film. This is perfect.
