Legends {Katsuki Bakugou x Reader}

Chapter three

I pant and feel my throat ache. I grab Kei's hand and sprint away from the men I just burned.

I end up teleporting us to a beach. I fall into the sand and cough harshly. I notice some red liquid sink into the sand below me. I wipe my mouth and notice the red substance on my hand too.

'Blood'

I lay back into the sand.

"(N/N)!" Kei yells.

"I'm alright. I just need a break" I said.

He began to cry slightly.

"Hey hey. I said I'm alright, what's wrong?" I asked sitting up.

He sat next to me.

"Why do you hurt yourself for me?" Kei asks.

"I do it to protect you. I can't let people take you away. Your my little brother" I say wrapping my arm around his shoulder.

He wraps his small arms around my waist and shoved his face into my side.

"I love you (N/N)" Kei said.

My heart stops and my blood goes cold. I smile genuinely and kiss the top of his small head.

"I love you too Kei"

I put my arm through the second backpack strap. I put on my shoes and then stand up straight. I take a deep breath and teleport in front of the dorms.

I walk towards the entrance and leave the school without the knowledge of dark blue eyes watching me in fear.

I walk down kamino ward and look for the americorp sign. I notice a large abandoned building with spray paint littered over the walls.

I look around me before walking into the empty hallway. I spread my wings and flew up to the roof silently. I noticed that if I break in through the windows then that would cause too much of a scene. I look around and think.

I pause after spotting a large vent. I sigh before tightening my backpack straps. My hands light up blue as I melt the nails off the vent door and it falls to the ground. I look down and sigh.

"I hope these vents are as strong as the movies make them look" I said before hopping in the vent.

I slid down the cold metal walls. The vent finally bent horizontally so I stopped sliding. I flip over and start crawling.

"The movies are real!" I whispered to myself.

The vents had a slight dusty smell to it due to the building not having any ventilation power. I continued to crawl but stopped once I heard a kid scream.

'Kei!'

I start to crawl faster until a small vent opening was below me. I look down and spot Kei tied up.

"Kei!" I whispered.

He just stayed still.

"Kei!" I whisper a little louder.

He continued to look forward. I groaned before punching the old rusty vent. It broke off and I jumped down after it.

I land not so gracefully on the ground.

"Kei! Let's go!" I said and went to grab him.

However, my hands phased through him. The chair and Kei disappeared and the lights turned off.

"Well well well" I heard a dark and obviously auto-tuned voice.

"If it isn't the little demon hero: Toshinori (Y/N)!" The deep voice says.

I look around and light a fire in my palm to see in the darkness.

"I go by (L/N)" I say angrily.

"Is that because you hate your father?" He asks.

"Wouldn't you like to know?!" I start to get angry.

"Now now (L/N), calm down. Or else bad things will happen" the voice said creepily calm.

I growl and blue fire began to spark in my mouth.

"Oh right! You're here because of Kei, aren't you?" The voice asked.

"Where is he?!" I screamed.

"He's here don't worry, but..." the voice said before a small screen popped up on the wall.

My heart stopped and the fires went away. I walked closer to the screen to see multiple guns and quirks pointed at Kei's small head. He had a blindfold on and a cloth wrapped around his mouth.

Tears began to fill my eyes.

"Why him? Why a small child who has so much to live for?! Take me! TAKE MY LIFE INSTEAD PLEASE!!" I screamed.

"Dear, if we wanted your life, we would have taken it already" the voice said getting darker.

The screen shut off and the voice went away. The room began to shut itself in. I take deep breathes and begin to think.

'... MIRIO'

I begin to collect my body and mind. I turn my intangibility on and I fall through the floor. I turn it off after I feel my body go all the way through.

Surprisingly my clothes were still intact and my backpack was still on my back. I look around and notice I'm in a dark hallway. I hear muffled screaming down the hall and I immediately sprint towards the sound.

I slam open the door I heard the sound come from and there he was.

"KEI!" I screamed and ran towards him.

His head was shaking violently side to side.

I was confused but before I could tell what he was trying to say, a huge cage slammed around me.

"You're joking right?" I asked.

I was about to teleport out but the bars of the cage began to spark. As I was trying to teleport a huge excruciating pain sparked throughout my body.

My legs gave out causing me to collapse.
