Prologue.
"Are you ready?" She asked. I simply nodded. "Trust me, it's good there. The whole place will make you realize somethings you didn't realize now." I lazily nodded.
She took my hand and we walked together. After a couple of minutes, we finally reached the place. All I can tell you is, there is nothing here. I can't feel any realizations. So what did she said? I faced her and gave her my super smirk. I smirked on her but she gave me her proud smile, I just rolled my green and blue eyes.
"We're not yet inside, let's go. Come and see..." What could I do? Ofcourse I'll just follow her, as if I have a choice.
When we were inside I started to look for the whole place, it is very clean and very calming. But this place isn't different to my house, clean and calming. Im so tired walking so I sat on the couch placed on the left side of the church. Miracle was busy talking with the church's staffs. I don't know how she called them. Lmao.
I continued looking the on this place, finding if there's an interesting thing to do. Until I saw a guitar, an bass guitar. How I love to play guitar but the thing is, I don't know how to. I gently walk towards the stage where the guitar was placed on. When Im already in the stage, I touched the bass guitar. It is very smooth. Oh my goodness, I want to play it very bad. But I don't know how to do so in the end I only stared and touched the guitar and decided to go back in the couch.
"Uhm, Sister Rhea.. This is my bestfriend since secondary, her name is Autumn. And Autumn, this is Sister Rhea, the song leader of this church." Miracle said. I smiled at her. So she is a song leader, I guess her voice was beautiful but her face isn't.
Truth slaps, well.
"Hi. Autumn." I lend her a hand. She took it, we shaked our hands, her hands is too rough. Can't handle it.
"Ako si Sister Rhea, pwede mo ako tawaging Ate Eya nalang." She then gave me her sweetest smile. Tipid nalang akong ngumiti.
"How old are you Rhea?" I formally asked. Mesyo nagulat pa siya.
"E-Eighteen." Sagot nito. I nodded.
"Im seventeen, do I have to call you Ate?" I can't help but to raise my left eyebrow.
"A-Autumn.." pagsingit ni Mira.
"I-Ikaw ang bahala..." Rhea answered. Nginitian ko si Rhea bago ako tumayo.
"Rhea nalang." Sabi ko. "Can i ask?" Ngumiti si Rhea bago siya tumango. "What's with this church? Anong ginagawa niyo dito? And why you are here?" Sunod-sunod na tanong ko.
"Church namin ito, almost three years na akong uma-attend dito. Ginagawa namin ang mga bagay na dapat gawin, kumanta, sumayaw, magturo at magpuri." Naglakad kami dahil malaki talaga ang simbahang ito. "Nandito ako dahil gusto kong magpuri at magpasalamat sa lahat lahat. I want to praise Him as long as I can. Hangga't nabubuhay pa ako." Woah, that was great huh.
"So you're a 'follower'." I chuckled but Mira pinched me. Kinunutan ko siya ng noo.
"Yes, obviously." Tumango-tango ako.
"Eh ano naman ang dulot ni Mira dito?" Natawa ako ng tuluyan.
"Masasabi kong taga-sunod na rin si Miracle. Tignan mo nga naman, ininvite niya pa ang bestfriend niya dito, diba?" Ngumiti si Mira.
"Oo nga naman, Autumn. Masarap kaya maging followe, why don't you try it too? Baka kapag naumpisahan mo eh di kana umayaw." I don't know but why am I laughing? Is it funny?
"Hmpk, I don't believe gods until I'll see one of them." Mabilis na sagot ko pero nakarinig ako ng mahinang tawa galing kay Mira.
"There is only one God, Autumn. What are you saying? gods? Really? You're look like a kid." Bakit? Tama naman ako diba.
"No. Basta magpakita muna sila sakin saka ako maniniwala. Noted?" Tumaas ang kilay ko bago ako nagpaalam na magsi-cr.
Hindi ba alam ni Mira? Maraming diyos gaya ng diyos ng karagatan, diyos ng kalangitan at iba pa. One god? Tss, ano ba naman 'tong si Miracle. Maniniwala nalang sa iisa pa. And who? Sino naman ang diyos niya? Si buddah? Hmpk.
Natigil ako sa paglalakad nang tumunog ang telepono ko. Nagmadali akong sagutin ito, it's my papa.
"Yes pa? What?"
"Nag-aagaw buhay ang mama mo...."
