Today is Wednesday _yeeey!!
Gosh I so love Wednesdays, I mean who wouldn't love Wednesdays? It's like just in the middle of the week,how cool is that!

**door bell rings **

"I'll get it! " I heard mom shout

"Who could that be? It's like 8 in the morning. " I thought to myself

**at the door **

"Good morning Mrs Williams, my name is Lisa, " Lisa said

"oh hello Lisa it's good to finally meet you. Alexis told me about you. Please do come in "Mrs Williams said and they both went in.

"it's a beautiful house you have here Mrs Williams "Lisa said

"please just call me Eve and thank you Lisa. How are your parents? "Eve asked

There was a moment of silence. Lisa's expression turned to sad and Eve noticed it

"am sorry honey did I say something wrong? " Eve asked worriedly

"no not at all Mrs Williams. Actually I live with my elder brother Jordan. My parents passed away when I was very young. My aunt took us in till Jordan graduated from college and was able to take care of me. "Lisa said trying hard not to break down.

"oh am so sorry to hear that sweetie, I didn't know. Alexis didn't te_"

"it's alright Mrs Williams Alexis doesn't know either. I was planning on telling her as days go by since we just met and I wouldn't want her to look at me differently"Lisa spoke cutting Eve short.

"alright honey Alexis will be down soon " Eve said giving Lisa a comforting hug "and she won't look at you differently once you tell her I promise " she finished

"thanks "Lisa said and Eve nodded in response, leaving for the kitchen.

**Back to Alexis' POV**

"it's alright Mrs Williams Alexis doesn't know either. I was planning on telling her as days go by since we just met and I wouldn't want her to look at me differently " I heard Lisa tell my mom

"is she hiding something from me? If yes what is it and why is she hiding? Is it that bad that she thinks I will start looking at her differently? " I asked myself _there you go again Alexis over analyzing stuff again. Just go down there and ask her...or you can just wait till she tells you. Yeah second option sounds good.

I quickly went down stairs to meet Lisa

"hey Lis good morning "I greeted her

"good morning Alexis. I was wondering if I could ride with you to school? My brother went to work early today "Lisa said

"yeah sure lemme just quickly have my breakfast. You know what? come join me,will you? " I invited her

"I just ate but thanks " Lisa replied

"oh come on. You are such a turn off "and we both laughed

School went by quickly today _another reason why I love Wednesdays yeepy!
Miss Brown gave us an assignment today which is to be handed in first thing Friday morning so I needed to work on it as soon as possible _hopefully starting today.

"hey Alexis are you doing anything today? " Lisa asked me as we were walking to the parking lot

"no nothing important, why? "I asked

"well I was hoping we could you know start working on the assignment together and maybe watch some movies later? " she suggested

"where have you been all my life!! " I placed my hands on her shoulders and shook her whilst grinning like a Cheshire cat _ yes I was that happy
