I noticed that a Terence was flirting with Layla and she was eating it all up. I was trying not to seem jealous or mad because I know I haven't asked her out yet.

"Hey z" I hear Aj whisper to me

"Yea"

"What you thinking about"

"What you mean" I reply

"You only play with your dreads when you think super hard about something"

"Oh I didn't even notice that I did that" I say

"Sooooo..."

"Well it's just that I peeped that Terence and lala are flirting and I'm trying not to be jealous because I know I haven't asked her out yet" I respond

"Just talk to her bro and you'll be fine"

"Iont think I can tho.."

"Do you want me to?"

"Lala can I talk to you for a minute"

I walk into the kitchen and hoped on the counter waiting for Layla to come in here.when she came in here I just looked.

"So what did you want to talk to me about?" She says

"What's going on with you and Z?"

"Oh,I've been stuck in the friend zone FOREVER"

"I told him to ask you out but he thought you would say no" I reply

"Well I WOULD have said yes if he did"

"Hold up,hold up,hold up I heard "would have" as in past tense"

"Yea T asked me out a couple minutes ago"

"Duh he's stupid fine"

"But what about Zi-"

"I'm done trying to get him to come around I need to move on"

And with that being said Layla walked back into the living room. I peak in the living room and to see z fiddling with his dreads again.

"Yo z... come here"

Z automatically hops up to come talk to me.
I sit back on the counter and wait.

"Ok so did you talk to her"

" Yea....I did" I honestly couldn't stand to see z upset but I gotta do it

"Ok so what did she say"

"Well basically T asked her out and she said yes"

"Ok but deadass stop fucking with me that shit ain't funny"

"I'm not tho...she said that she was tired of being stuck in the friend zone"

After I said that I could see Z's eyes start to water.

"Z it's fi-"

"No it's not mane just leave me alone" he says walking out the kitchen

I walk back into the living room and I see that  Zion isn't in there.

"Yo were did Z go?" I asked

"He went up stairs,he seemed mad tho" Malik said

"That because he is"

"Why?" Edwin asks

"That's not my business to tell"

Once the movie is over Malik and Terence went home. And everybody else went up stairs to their rooms. So I decided to go check on Zion.

I walk up to the door and hear fainted music,so I know that he's awake. I knock on the door but he just turns up his music.

"Z lemme in bro"

All he does is turns his music up louder. So I decided to blow up his phone

Zion gets up to open the door when I see him his eyes are bloodshot red. My first instinct is to pull him into hug. Once I do that he starts crying on to me.

All he does is cry even more
