"Mom,I'm home!"I said entering my house.
"Hey honey,how was school today?"My mum asked kissing me on the same spot Dave did,on my forehead,yuck.i wondered how she'd have felt ,knowing she just kissed Dave.
"It was good, mum"
"That's great to hear,i see you've got ice cream"she said walking back to the kitchen to attend to something she'd left.
"Yes, Dave bought them, I got some for you"
"Mint chocolate?" she asked,her head popping out of the kitchen.
"The one and only"
"That's my girl "

I woke up to the sound of birds singing,got ready and met my mum in the kitchen.
"Morning mum"
"Morning love, how was your night?"
"Well it was good but I had a really weird dream.. "my mom stiffened "i dreamt about glasses, forks and chickens trying to get into my mouth".
"Flashback?"
"No,mom" hearing this, my mom relaxed.
"Well eat up and get going, David would soon be here".she says handing me a plate of bacon and eggs.i couldn't help but notice the proud look on my mum's face as I cleared my plate.

When I got back home ,I quickly dashed up the stairs and changed into my gym clothes.Yes you heard right, gym clothes. Mrs Garnett and my mum gave me a membership card to a gym.No, I don't go to the gym to workout like a normal human being, I go to eat my homemade snacks, lie down on the treadmill, read a book and sleep and I'm not being sarcastic.
I took a cab to the gym that was not even far from my house.
Once I got there,I saw that no one was inside. That is another reason why I really love this gym, it was a bit hidden and private, not many people come here. To get a membership card, you have to know the owner personally or have a lot of cash,something like that.Basically,they don't just give the membership card to just anybody. Which made me wonder how Mrs Garn and my mom got this place.Let's not forget the big swimming pool right beside it ,the restaurant!, the basketball court, squash court and a whole lot more.
And ever since I started coming to this gym,there hasn't been any gym instructor, since they said that he travelled or something like that.so that left the whole place to myself.
After a few hours of reading the princess and the frog,I decided to stay a little late and attempt working out.i plugged my phone to to the aux cord. 'Let's hurt tonight' by onerepublic ,blasted through the gym speakers',I grabbed my bacon sandwich feeling hungry again and climbed on the treadmill. Putting it on the slowest,it began to move while I walked on it,peacefully eating my sandwich and singing along.
"I'll get the lights and you lock the door rrrrrrrrrrs" I sang at the top of my voice,with the sandwich still in my mouth. "we ain't leaving till we-" the song stopped playing.i couldn't see where my phone was since it was already dark and I hadn't turned on the lights.
"Who are you?"a deep voice spoke,startling me and sending me falling on the treadmill with a loud thud.Ouch!,Clumsy Ava.Hearing that, the person put on the lights and I quickly covered my eyes.
"Do you want to get me blind?!!" I yelled and slowly removed my hands from my face,Once my eyes had adjusted to the lights,I looked up at the figure and the sandwich I was eating,fell from my mouth.
A tall muscular figure stood before me with dark hair and green eyes, the most beautiful sculpture I'd ever seen holding my phone in one hand and the aux cord in another.
His eyes narrowed to the sandwich that was smudged on the treadmill and on the floor "Is that food?" He said,irritated.
"Hello?, are you mute now?"he asked, folding his muscular arms on this chest. After a few minutes of gawking at them , i realized that I was still on the floor.
"Maybe you'd help me up instead of asking so many questions "
"Oh Great!,you can speak" he said, sarcastically.Making me angry.
"Of course, I can speak,you giraffe.Help me up" he just stood there as if waiting for something more and I rolled my eyes.
"Please?"with that he dropped my phone on a nearby chair and stretched his big arm out for me to take.i hesitatingly placed my tiny hand on it and in one swift motion, He pulled me to my feet.
Before I could say anything, he went to the door, flipped the 'open' sign so that it could read 'closed' and walked out.
"Rude much" I muttered to myself and grabbed my things, not forgetting to throw the smudged sandwich in the bin ,then walked out.i flagged down a taxi and headed straight home.
