Chapter 4
Ali stood up as the door open.
A young man a bit shorter than Ali entered.
"Ali...?" The man said, grinning.
Ali grinned back. "Stephen..."
Stephen laughed and looked at Ali more closely.
"Man, I haven't seen you for a long time. You look different." He said, chuckling.
Ali smiled.
"Well, what can I do for you?" Stephen asked.
And Ali's face went grim.
"Well," He said taking out a brown envelope. "Stephen, your brother is a doctor, right?"

It has been a month since Top last saw Sam.
A month since Jared Dela Cruz died.
A month since Top saw Sam die inside as well.
He hadn't seen her after she had been whisked away by her friends.
And of course when he came back the following day, they were already gone.
He tried to search for her address or even for just her number but he couldn't.
Well, surely they'd be very strict about that. Sam was a celebrity after all.
The incident were on many news. And each time he watched it or read it on newspaper, his heart ache. He knew Sam must feel worst than he did. He wanted to help her again, to comfort her, but he couldn't reach her.
After about a week, the news died down. But still, he knew she needed help. And he had the instinct to want to be the one who help her. Because, strangely, helping her was like helping himself as well.
And then he had found out about Sam's school. From what he gathered, it was an all girl's dormitory school where Sam used to go to as a student. It had been her home since she became orphaned. The people there have become her second family. So when she graduated, she never forgot them, always donating to the school and frequently going back to visit.
He had took off at once intending to go to the school but then...
"Top! Top! Hang on, hang on... ! Avery! Hurry and call--!"
Top closed his eyes at the memory.
He then heard some whimpering.
He looked down, and smiled at Clarky.
"I'm okay..." He told his dog, patting him on his head.
He looked up at the street.
"Where are we anyway?"
Clarky started barking as if excited.
"Clarky?" Top called out.
But then she started running.
And his leash had slipped right out of Top's hand.

The door opened and in entered Audrey Dela Cruz.
"Audrey! I thought you'll leave for France today!" Maggie exclaimed, assisting Audrey with her bags.
"I am. But honestly, how can I not come?" She said a bit snappishly and then sighed.
