I was sitting in my room, if you could even call it that, as my father walked in. "Hello again, you summer reject" he barked, as he punched me in the gut. I coughed up blood, and FEARed for my life. He punched me in the face, and I banged my head against the wall. Tai walked out, and I focused my aura to try and heal my wounds. After I sealed the wounds, I laid down on the ground. 'Why do I have to remind tai of mom. I never asked to look like mom, I just do. Why do I have to get beaten every day' pondered. I hugged myself, when I felt a foreign object in my embrace. I sat up, and looked at what I was holding. It was a small pink blob, and for some reason, I thought it was adorable. "Hello" I asked hesitantly. It turned around, and looked at me intently, and it's expression seemed to lighten up. It floated up to my face, and nuzzled my cheek. It went to the ground, and formed into a miniature version of me, and started doing a running motion. "You want me to run away" I asked. It formed back into a blob, and nodded. "Okay, will you help me" I asked. Once again, it nodded. "What can you do" I asked, as it formed into a scythe. "So you can shapeshift" I asked. It nodded. "What should I call you" I asked. It formed into the letter A. "A" I asked. Then it became a K. "Ak" I said confused. It became a U, then an M, and then another U. "akumu" I asked, and it nodded. "Can I call you kumu for short" I asked, and Akumu nodded again. "How should I escape" I asked. Kumu formed into a small, pink window, and opened. "Out a window" I asked, and recieved a nod. "Okay, I'll go when everyone is asleep" I said.

Kumu formed into a key, and helped me open the door. I snuck downstairs, and took a few chocolate granola bars. I carefully opened a window, and crawled out, but someone saw me. "Ruby" a feminine voice said. I turned around, and saw my fourteen year old sister staring at me. "I'm sorry sis, but i can't stay anymore" I said. "I . . . i understand. I'm sorry I couldn't help" yang apologized. "It's okay sis" I said. I squeezed back inside, and pulled yang into a hug. Kumu joined in as well. "I promise you yang, I'll see you at beacon" I said, determined to see her again. "I'll hold you against it" yang said. "I love you sis" I said. "I love you too rubes" yang said. I squeezed through the window, and yang closed it behind me. I ran off, and never looked back.

I was walking through vale, when i saw a group of people carrying a cane gun, and a metric fuck ton of giant red machetes. I decided to follow them, amd see what was going on. The FEAR of the bystanders flowed into me, making me stronger. (Basically, ruby works as a rechargeable battery that runs off FEAR). They went into a store, and started to steal some dust. "So . . . what are you doing" I asked innocently. "Were stealing shit, now empty your pockets" the man said. "Welp, I tried to be friendly" I said.
(Meanwhile, in the anti-void)
"Ink, someone stole my line" error said, clearly pissed. "Leave it be error, it's not worth destroying another AU" ink said, trying not to have a repeat of previous events.

Kumu floated off my shoulder, and morphed into a hand-mounted sword. I peirced his neck, before he could even react. "What the HELL are you" bowler cap asked.

"Fuck this shit, I'm out" he yelled, pulling a pink haired banshee. He ran, and climbed to the top of a building, and kumu formed around my foot, and gave me a jump boost to the roof. "You can't run from your FEARS" I said maniacally. He jumped into a bullhead, trying to get away. "Not gonna happen" I said, as I summoned a pink spear. I threw it at the bullhead, getting wedged into the hull. I pulled the string back, and the bullhead couldn't leave. Just then, a bitch came, threw rocks at the bullhead, and unhooked my spear. "I COULD'VE GOTTEN THEM, BUT YOU UNHOOKED MY SPEAR" I yelled, VERY pissed. "Come with me young lady" the bitch said coldly. A green bubble formed around me, but I wasn't having it. My hair became fully pink, and my eyes glowed. "RHABDAPHOBIA" I announced, and we were surrounded by a grey aura. I opened up the bubble, and put the bitch inside, but the bubble was now pink. "What will you do when I come with you. Will you experiment on me? will you TRY to kill me?" I asked sternly. "Someone wants to see you" she said. "Fine" I said as I dropped her.

"Ruby rose, you have pink eyes" ozpin said. I summoned a spear and pointed it at his head. "The name's ruby akumu, bitch. Get it right" I ordered. "I apolagize, ruby akumu, you have pink eyes" he said again. "So . . . big deal" I said, voice laced in sarcasm. "How did you do this" he asked as he showed a video of akumu doing his shapeshifting on my body. "Semblance" I said. "I do not sense a strong enough aura on you to use a semblance that much" he said. "Whatever . . . ozma . . . magic" I said, with emphasis on his name. "How did you know that name" he asked. "Try a certain spell known as . . . check" I said. "Would you like to come to my school" he asked. "Listen, I know people like to say 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend', but I could be the greatest threat to remnant if I wanted. So why" I asked. "Because Yang Xiao Long is in this year" he said. "Pulling the sibling card eh. I was going to say yes either way, but sure. Count me in" I say enthusiastically.
