Chapter 8 

Daisy's POV

First rehearsal today with the band and of course, Kyle. May upcoming event next month which is October Fest.

I love this school. We have so many events kaya di masyadong nabobore and mga students. Cool din ang teachers namin and ang principal.

We have about 1 month to rehearse. For the first 2 weeks, once a week lang ang practice then sa last 2 weeks, mga thrice to four times a week na.

"Okay so here's the plan. Si Daisy ang maglelead ng National Anthem and the school song. We'll go over both songs once every rehearsal. It's October Fest which means it's for the whole day until around 7 pm at night or later. Ang series ng events for that day is: first, we have the talent show then Search for Mr. and Ms. Campus Heartthrob and of course Battle of the Bands. You will only perform sa Search and sa intermission ng Battle of the Bands. For the Search, Kyle will serenade the girls and si Daisy sa guys then for the intermission, duet naman kayo. Questions?"

"Kami po ba ang mamimili sa songs?" asked Kyle.

"May list of songs ako for your serenades, now you just have to choose one so we can finalize everything. Pero for the intermission, I chose the song. Any other questions? Daisy?"

"Okay na po sa akin ang plan."

"Okay good. So here's the list. I'll give you few minutes to choose so I can print out the music for everybody."

Kyle chose Truly, Madly, Deeply by Savage Garden, aba old school pala siya. Mukhang romantic. Mukha lang naman.

I chose Crazier by Taylor Swift. I love her eh!

After Mrs. Cortez printed out the music sheets for the whole band, we started to rehearse. Mrs. Cortez would stop us sometimes to tell us tips and give us feedbacks. She's one of my favorites. Mas lalong naimprove and pagkanta ko because she serves as my voice coach.

I sing at church and I also perform at parties and some events, elite or not, because I'm a part of Center for Pop Music. 

Actually, nadiscover ako sa family friend's party when I was 7. Nagperform kasi ako dun and one of the music teachers sa CFP told my dad to enrol me para matrain daw ako.

Anyways, back to the rehearsal. Daldal ko talaga, hehe ^_^
