Nico's POV

His eyes haunted me. His frequent smile and laughter. The way he looked at her. Eyes locking, causing her to smile. I didn't like it one bit. I suddenly stood up from the table. "You okay, Nico?" Leo asked. I nodded, my eyes finding the ground. I walked back to my cabin, my thoughts wandering to Bianca. I had tried not to think about her because it just made me angry. Especially since I couldn't summon her ghost after several tries. "Uh, Nico?" I turned at the familiar voice. His sea-green eyes sparkling with worry. "Yeah?" I asked, glare softening. "I just wanted to make sure you're okay. You're okay, right?" "Are you trying to ask if I'm still hurt that you broke your promise?" I grumbled. "Um...I was just asking-" "It's not like my sister's dead or anything!" I raised my voice. "Oh, come on, man. You gotta let her go." Leo came up behind Percy. "I-I can't! She's my sister and you killed her!" I shouted pointing at Percy. "Calm down, Nico." Piper mumbled. "Just leave me the hell alone." I muttered, tearing up. Arms wrapped around me from behind. I turned to see Thalia. "Nico, it's going to be okay." She said. I shook her off and walked away. It wasn't going to be okay. They didn't understand. I don't have anyone, anymore. Bianca was the only one who accepted me...and now, she's gone. I didn't get much sleep that night. My mind kept drifting to Percy's sea-green eyes and his musical laughter. I sat up from the ground and crawled into my bed. My cabin wasn't the most welcoming. I liked the dark, though. I stepped outside the cabin door and closed it, sliding down into the sitting position. After what might've been hours but felt like minutes, I saw the fist ray of the morning sun. Breakfast would be soon but I wasn't hungry. "You're mumbling." The voice startled me. I looked up to see Annabeth. "I don't mumble." I retort. "Why are you up so early?" She asked. I shrugged, not saying anything. I looked at her, noticing a necklace around her neck. It was a wave of water and an owl binded by a heart. I poked it, causing her to look down. "It's pretty." "Percy gave it to me last night." Annabeth said. I nodded. I didn't want to see that necklace. Percy was supposed to be mine. I liked him a lot...way more than she did. And yet, he never thought twice about me. He never noticed the constant glances I stole of him. I got up and walked down toward the lake. I needed to think. I sat down close to the water. My foot splashed in the water. I looked toward the ground, my fingers spreading in the grass. "Sis? Are you there?" I asked in a whisper. "Bianca? Can you hear me?" I asked a bit louder. I knew she could. "I don't belong here. I know you want me to stay here, stay safe, but I don't belong here." I said, "I'm in love with Percy and, yet, I don't know how to feel." I pulled out the small Hades figurine, turning it thrice in my hand. The little figurine gave me hope. Of what? I wasn't sure.
