Chapter 4

Jai pov....

After awhile of thinking i heard “but hold your breath, because tonight will be the night that i will fall for you, over again” Wait isn’t that fall for you by secondhand serenade? That’s Lexie’s ringtone! Is she here? I bolted up from my bed and rushed to the door way, to find Lexie’s phone on the table outside my room. She must have left it here last night. I picked up the phone and answered. “Hello, who is this? Why do you have my phone?” I knew straight away it was Lexie “Lex shut up. I have it” did i just tell her to shut up. Woops. “And who is ‘I’ ” how stupid am i? It’s not like she can look through the phone. “It’s Jai” “Oh few i thought you were someone else” someone else? Who would that be? “Umm ok then. Do you want your phone back?” Daa Jai you idiot of course she wants it back! “Ah yes! I do! Wanna meet up?” She wants to see me. WIN! “Sure park outside your house?” “Yep sure cya then” she hung up and i just stood there looking like a complete dork with a grin on my face. “LALA!” i yelled whilst running straight at her. We both toppled over and she was licking my face. I didn’t care though. I was gonna see Lexie again. “Down Lala” Beau said from behind me. Looked like i was off my face “what are you on Jai?” he asked me with a confused look on his face. “What? Oh. Ha-ha Nothing. I’m leaving”. With that i left and walked to the park.

Lex pov.....

I literally jumped out of bed and run for the closet i opened it up and when the doors opened the letter came floating down from the shelf i put it on last night. I bent down and picked it up. My eyes went over and over those 4 words thousand more time ‘I will find you’ i knew exactly what they meant. I grabbed out my lose trackies and my janoskians hoddie Jai gave to me yesterday. I tucked the paper into my pants thinking that i will sort it out later. “MUM! I’m going to the park see you soon” i yelled bolting for the door before mum could stop me. But i was too late. “Chick you’re not going anywhere because you have a visitor. Remember your old friend Alex?” I stopped right in my tracks. Oh no how could he have found me already I’ve only been here two days for crying out loud! “Are you kidding me!” i screamed with fury at my mum for even letting him in the house. She knew what he did to me and yet she still lets him in! Unbelievable! “Well no im not kidding i thought we were starting fresh and maybe it’s time to forgive and forget” i couldn’t even believe the words that were coming out of her mouth. “How could i forget it’s his fault that...” i was cut off by Alex “would you like me to leave?” “Ye...” i was about to say yes but mum cut me off. “No darling you just go back into the kitchen we will be there soon.” I was just standing and staring. I just couldn’t bring myself to go into that kitchen and see him. A crash of a plate brought me back to reality. “Shit” i heard from the kitchen. Fucking Alex he just has to come and ruin my life here and my plates. What is this? “I will be right back you stay here!” mum whispered/yelled at me. Yeah, like i was going to listen to her. I turned on my heel when mum was out of sight and bolted for the door. I got outside and just ran for the park and when i saw Jai i just broke down i couldn’t keep the tears back. “Tell me everything” And with that i did. But only what just happened i might explain the rest to him later.

Jai pov.....

I was standing in the park and i saw Lexie in the distance i had a big grin on my face. All of the sudden she just broke down i ran to her side. She cried into my shoulder for awhile till i broke the silence “tell me everything”. After she told me i was confused and worried for her. Who is this Alex guy and how and why did he hurt Lexie?
