<pre style="white-space: pre-wrap; word-wrap: break-word; font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: normal; text-align: left;">Ask me what I think,
I’m saying this won’t be easy.
How can one person give so much and still feel, Feel like the uneven pavement
outside. Being walked on, Spit on, Used up and ignored once and awhile.
Since when was she an object? When was it ever okay to call her ugly? The
only thing thats ugly is the way she’s treated. When shes gone will anyone
notice? They noticed every imperfection about her, yet no one took the time to
understand.
Empty halls he walks alone. Pants at his waist, Shirt tucked in when did he
become a loser? How will sagging your pants and skipping school help your
future? So what if he dresses nice and has good grades. It will all reflect on life
later. He has a huge heart and your females still go after those other dudes.
Remember that girl thats always late for school? Do you expect her to be
perfect when all her life the only place she could ever call home was the shelter.
When did anyone ever tell her shes loved? How long will it take for her voice to
be heard? Then when someone finally decides to listen, She won’t be around.
See that boy, Do you ever wonder why he’s so quiet? Should it matter if he
speaks good english or not. He should not be labeled with stupid!
I go could on about him, her, him, her, him, her, them, STOP! Ask me what i
think. Ask me if I could make a difference. Ask me why I care. Envelopes should
have labels, Cans should have labels, Songs should have labels. People, people
should not be defined with such harsh words that have been spread through
so many mouths. Unless you were with them and by their side at that moment
where their lives had changed forever, Keep your mouth from speaking lies.
Ask me what I think. I think its time to grow up. Don’t assume their emotions.
ask about their day, their favorite hobby, ask them to be your friend. Make
them smile, Its all that it takes. It shouldn't be a label that tells their story, It
should be their voice.
Now, You know what I think.</pre>
