"So how you been , You good." My mother asked as I posted the picture she just took of me.
"Why does everybody keep asking me that?" I slightly rolled my eyes. "Yea ma, I'm fine."
"Kheri." She peeked up at me. I just continued to eat my ice-cream watching my feed go up.
"Mom, I'm fine I promise."
"Alright bud if you say so, you ready to go?"
"Yeah, can you drop me by Leon's?" I asked her, for some reason today I didn't bring my car I just brung my purse and belongings along. Not knowing where my mom was going to take me on this sympathy trip.
"Yea, does he still stay by rose hill park." I nodded walking to her car opening the passenger side door.
"Alright, well I gotta stop and get some gas first, you gone need something out to store hot momma?" She told me.
"Green leaf lemonade brown sugar tea. Them jonks be bopping." I danced in my seat thinking about it
"Goofy, alright." She started her vehicle pulling off to the nearest store.
Pulling up next to a pump. "Pump the gas for me, I'm bout to put 20 on it." She said getting out.
I got out with her, telling her the number of the station.
Moments later she walk out with a bag , signaling me to start pumping the gas, which I did.
"Thank you ma'am." I told her once she gave me a bag full of snacks.
"What's all this?" I pressed the premium 83 button and started pumping the gas pipe into the car.
"Cause i know you gone go over there and try to eat up all that boy stuff, so im doing lee a favor, tell him i said you welcome when i drop yo' bald headed off." She said.
I laughed, "Whew chile' i hate you." I joked holding the bag in my hand. Finishing pumping the gas, "Man that was bout the longest twenty dollars ever."
"Better had been, gotta last me atleast for today and tomorrow. Im going downtown to see yo ratchet ass daddy." she said getting in the car.
"Dont talk about my poppa like that what's wrong with you. I alt' call him."
"Go ahead ain't nobody scared of that nigga."
"Y'all childish." I laughed closing the tank to the car, getting back into the passenger seat.
"No he's childish got me driving downstate for him. Ion know how these other motherfuckers do it in these other wattpad stories, just be driving to places and shit like gas run on water. Wish the hell I would do this for him EVER again." She said, by then I was in tears.
My mother is so damn bipolar but knows exactly how to make me laugh. I see who I exactly get my attitude from.
"Hurry up and drop me off I'm tired of you." I told her, putting on my seatbelt as she pulled off.
