A/N: Sorry I deleted all of my other stories. I was surprised they were read by a good amount of people. However, I just cannot continue to write the JTK fanfic. It's not good for my mental health. I hope you guys like this story and I'm sorry if I let you guys down. Maybe one day I'll start writing a new and better one.

I slammed my head on the edge of my desk in Math class. I got almost no sleep last night due to my stupid cat jumping on my face in the middle of the night, and now I'm paying the price.
"Oww! Fuck this." I mumbled in anger. My friend, Nia, looked over at me with those same disapproving eyes. She's always been one of, if not, the smartest girl in our grade, and she knew it too.
"What on Earth are you doing, Kayli? *sigh* You can be so stupid at times."
"I didn't expect you to look at me without throwing something at you." I chuckled out
"Whatever, just do your work! This is why you have a B in this class." she spat out at me. I flinched at the tone of her voice. I've always known she thinks I'm annoying; she's too nice to say something about it. The bell rang, I gathered all of my books and ran to get to my next class not bothering to hide the bags under my eyes.
---Time Skip---
Once again I put my head on the my desk, except now I was in my 4th period. I quickly became bored and started to draw instead of work. I became totally engrossed in my drawing, just letting whatever appear on the paper that wished. Once I came back to reality I realized I'd drawn a manga girl crying. Only then did I realize the sadness surrounding me. Nia and Felix, one of my guy friends, were looking over to see what I had drawn. Instinctively, I hide the drawing from their views. I wasn't ashamed of it; I just don't like showing my work to people.
"Hey Kayli, did you hear about the new guy?" Felix asked me brushing his blonde hair out of his eyes. I have had a crush on Felix since the 4th grade, but I've already accepted he'll never love me back.
"Umm no, I had no clue we had another new student." I muttered.
"You seriously didn't notice?" Nia wasn't too shocked at my lack of attention, "He's in all of our classes, even your chorus class."
"He couldn't keep his eyes off of you and he still can't!" Ginger, my red head friend, exclaimed. Ginger has always been one for romance. She refers to herself as the romance goddess. Although she has red hair, she can be a true "blonde" sometimes.
"I, the romance goddess, shall pair you up with him immediately!"
"Woah, slow down a minute Ginger! I don't even know this guy."
"Sometimes you're no fun Kayli." Ginger pouted as I laughed at her remark. The bell rang and I left for my final class of the day, Georgia Studies. I sat through the excruciatingly boring class just waiting for class to be dismissed. I almost cried out in happiness when the bell rang and school was over for the day. I about to leave the class room when the new guy called out to me.
"Hey Kayli?" All I could think was 'how does this guy know my name?'
"Do you need anything? You're the new kid aren't you?" This was the first time I had looked at him. He had shaggy brown hair, pale skin, and crystal blue eyes. I became entranced in his eyes, they showed confidence and secrecy.
"Um Kayli, are you okay?" I broke my trance and realized I had spaced out again.
"I'm sorry I was looking at your eyes."
"My eyes?" I felt my face getting warm. Why was I blushing?
"Well they're. . . never mind." He laughed at my blushing and response.
"Well why don't we talk on the way to the bus?" I had completely forgotten class had been dismissed. I should be fine though, I would only have to stand outside the bus anyway seeing as I don't have an assigned seat on the bus.
"That's a pretty good idea." We hadn't said anything to each other until we got off the bus. . . at the same stop?
"So my eyes?" I was confused for a moment when I remembered spacing out in his eyes of mystery.
"Yes, they're quite unique. It's like there's a film over them causing little emotion to show." He was quite impressed by my answer to his half question.
"Why didn't you talk to me until I adressed you?" No one has ever asked me that sort of question before so I was a little shocked by this. My face became warm again.
"I figured you would be sucked into the popular crowd and I stay away from the popular people typically." He seemed to like this answer, but I just couldn't stop looking at his eyes. When I finally looked away I was at my house.
"Well goodbye, I guess I'll see you tomorrow. Oh and what was your name?" He snickered a bit and looked at me with this look I couldn't recognize.
"I'm Roka, and I live just down the street. Oh by the way, I want you to talk to me more tomorrow. Goodbye." With that he just walked off. He seemed to be a good guy, but something about him was. . . off.
