Unexpected love

It's been almost one week now Bilal's birthday passed. And he didn't receive a single text from her, not even for apologizing that she forgot his birthday. He was heartbroken now, and very much angry also. But his anger would cool down only if she said "I'm sorry!" He would forgive her at once, no matter what. But he didn't receive a text only, how can he forgive her.

Bilal was very much depressed and disturbed, he lost interest in many things now. He was mostly in his room most of the time, away from everyone. But no one could make out from his face that he was disturbed and upset. He was disturbed, on the other hand, Sarah was enjoying herself. Busy in her own world doing wonders, not knowing Bilal's mental state. Maybe she just stopped caring about him now. She was happy, jolly, enjoying, posting stuff. And Bilal is waiting here for one text from her.

Bilal waited for another few days for her text, but she didn't. So in the end, Bilal only texted her,

"Hey Sarah! What happened?"

"Why did you stop texting me?"

"Are you Okay?"

"Is everything Okay with you?"

"Why are you behaving strangely?"

"If you have any problem, please tell me! Tell me, just like before! How you shared everything!"

She wasn't online when he started asking questions at her! But after few minutes she came online, and Bilal became more anxious now! Now he started asking more questions. After few minutes, she saw her texts and gave FEW replies to MANY of his texts.

"Hi" Replied Sarah.

"Heyyy Sarah! Where have you been? How are youuuu?" Bilal asked.

"I am good." She replied.

"What happened to you?"

"Nothing..."

"Why are you not talking to me?"

"Hmmm..."

"What does that mean?"

"Don't know..."

"Why are you behaving in such a rude or weird way?"

"I don't know. I am normal." Sarah replied.

He again asked few questions. After sometime she went offline.

"Shit man...." He said angrily and punched the wall in front of him in frustration.

He waited for an hour for her to come online, but she didn't come online. He started thinking why is she doing like this? Is this some kind of prank she is playing on me? Or is she just teasing me? Or is she betraying me? Is she back-stabbing me? So many possibilities were there. He wasn't sure about anything. Not even a thing was certain. He couldn't even come to a conclusion, because he was TOTALLY BLANK. While thinking, he slept unexpectedly with a heavy heart.

"Shit, why did I sleep? When I did sleep? What time is it now? Did Sarah text me?" He woke up puzzled. He slept for 3 hours. He quickly took his phone to check whether she texted him or not but she didn't. But she was online now. So he texted her again.

"Saraaaaahhhhh..." Bilal texted.

"Reply me please. I am waiting for your text from so long but you are not replying only."

She read this message and kept it on seen. He thought she will type in a while. He waited for 5 minutes. But she didn't type anything.

"Saaarrraaaahhhhh..."

"What?" She replied in a rude manner.

"What happened? Why are you not speaking these days?" Bilal asked.

"Nothing." She replied.

"Look I am sorry, if you are upset because of me. I don't want you to be upset because of me. If you think that I have done something that hurted you, then I am seriously sorry. I apologize!" Bilal was feeling really bad. So he thought of apologizing her, even though he did nothing. But just so that their bond doesn't break, he apologized so that everything gets sorted.

But again, she didn't see her message and went offline. He waited for her message till it was 12, thinking that she will come online and what if he is busy! His parents were continuously shouting and asking him to have his dinner, but he didn't move from his room. He again waited till 1. Then his father came and he was seriously angry this time, and scolded him badly and told him to have dinner. So reluctantly he had to go, but still he took his phone along with him. While he was eating, his mind was totally on his mobile. He had his dinner, went to his room, and still he didn't receive her text. After quite some time he realized that she read her message but still didn't reply. He was really feeling bad. Everytime, every freaking time, how can a person take this much of ignorance, but he was just taking it somehow. Trying, failing, getting ignored, again trying!

After 2-3 months

Bilal texted her almost everyday. But Sarah would reply to her texts sometimes that to, for 2 minutes. LITERALLY 2 MINUTES. He tried almost everything he could, but it was all in vain. It had no effect on her. As if she had decided that she will not reply Bilal's any text properly. He was doing his part perfectly, but she didn't. He was disturbed and upset, and felt low most of the time. But it was of no effect to Sarah, she was enjoying, posting stuff WITH HER NEW FRIENDS-who got close to her in a short period of time. And what about the one who was close to you. Who meant something to you? But this didn't make him stop texting her. He tried his maximum level...

After a couple of days, Bilal became restless, to be precise he became desperate now, VERY BADLY. He wanted to know what happened, and why is she treating him so badly! So one fine day when he couldn't take it anymore, he threw so many questions at her,

"Saaarrraaaaaahhhhh..."

"What happened to you Sarah? Why have you changed? Why aren't you replying to ANY of my texts, and even if you are replying why are you replying in such a rude way? What have I done to you? I didn't do anything and yet I am getting this kind of attitude! Why tell me, why? At least answer me now Sarah! You have been ignoring me from past so many months I don't know why, tell me now at least! You are leaving me in a total blank condition, not even givng me a clue! Please tell me what happened, I request you sincerely!"

"Nothing..." Sarah replied him, WOTH ONLY ONE WORD.

Out of no where this question popped in Bilal's mind.

"Do you want to end this? Do you want to stop chatting with me?" Bilal asked her. He didn't knew how this question popped in, but he asked her. But the most great thing happened was the reply she gave him,

"Yeeessssss!!!!" Sarah replied.

This word shook his world. He was taken aback. He got goosebumps, he became hyper, he didn't know what do he do now.

"Haha, you MUST be joking." Bilal replied her. Wishing that she was joking.

"No. I am not. I am serious." She replied.

Bilal asked her why, what happened? Why all of a sudden? Did he hurt her? Tell me the reason. But to every question he asked, she only replied with "No" "I don't know" "Hmmm" He could see his friendship break, his bonding getting weak, and he was really scared, scared for real. He did everything he could at that time.

"You said that I have become so close to you that you can't neglect now! Then what happened now? You told that no one can take my place, what happened now? You told that I was irreplaceable, what happened now? You promised that you will always be there for me, what happened now? You told that you won't break the bond, WHAT ON EARTH HAPPENED NOW?" Bilal asked her. He started crying now from inside.

But the reply he got this time was something that he can never forget,

"I don't care Bilal. I really don't. Good-Bye!" She said and went offline.

Before he could figure out what happened she disappeared. He again kept messaging but it wasn't of any use now! So in the end all he could say was,

"Good-Bye Sarah." He said goodbye, but not from his heart. He was broke that day!
