How Important is it to have a Career.

Long gone are the times when women were only considered as a baby making machine and robot for household chores. Now girls, times have changed, people have changed and the world has become more career orientated. So as a advise to all school and college girls out there, do not take anything for granted and do not depend on anyone. Few things should be taken in notice when finding your career path:

What do you want to be

· First and foremost, your subject choices. You should be careful about your subject choices as they either make or break your life.

Stay Strong

· Secondly never fear the predictable, but be aware of inevitable. You know that one day you are going to apply for a job that you are going to love so never stand down on your choices. Choose the path you love and make choices that you think will benefit your future. Help can be taken from family and parents but in the end it's all on you to follow your heart.

Hardships will follow but don't loose it

· Life suddenly gets unlucky and might throw in a few hurdles at you, do not be afraid and face them. You may become financially at loss or loose any important person in your life affecting your career but the best option is to just relax for a few seconds and think what can be done. The aftermath has happened, but now the consequences should be faced. Buckle up ladies and try to find your way. Look for an alternative job or part time way of earning money and continue your studies. Don't let anything stop that. Everything perishes one day in your life whether it's money, parents, boyfriend, husband or beauty. That's the harsh reality but one thing that still stays with you and can pull you out of any mess is your education. So focus on that. These parties and hangouts can forever wait in background but time will not come back if you miss out on your education.

· After completing your education in any field, whether it's engineering, business, medicine, arts or even sports, look for your dream job. And start working your way towards that.

Your entry should be phenomenal

· Make an impressive resume, be confident about every extracurricular activity you did or after school jobs you have had, who knows what will help you out at what time.

· Do not be tensed while you are being interviewed. An interviewer does not want to know if you are educated or intelligent, that's evident from your results and certificates mentioned in your resume. He will just check if you are a friendly, confident, witty and a spontaneous person to work with. So be yourself ! Don't be shy, reply your best and don't shy away from any topic as they tend to gather your weakness through it. And the most important, dress your best but don't overdo it.

Balance work and family life, both are important

· After you have a job, now the hard part comes. Its okay for women to work while balancing families but do not compromise on leaving any one. Try to balance out but always keep working towards your goals, hire nanny for children, maids for your help but try to balance out both.

Last but not the least, if anyday you feel you are failing as a doctor and as a mother at a same time or as a teacher and as a wife, just look in the mirror and scold yourself, take a break, meditate and then tell yourself, "I can do it, it's in my hands, only in my hands".
