This is what the Lord says: "Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But you said, 'We will not walk in it.' (Jeremiah 6:16 NIV)
Is true no one ever lived a life free of troubles and challenges but there's always a choice which we made or ignored. Like David said somewhere in the Bible "before I was afflicted, I went astray", so we also went astray.
But there's always a way out.
Are you confused today? God says "ask for the ancient path (old path), ask where the good way is, and walk in it."
There's only one ancient book which is the Bible. In it consist characters of those who faced same situation you're in right now. Enquire those who made it through the darkness night how they did, also those who failed so you won't fall in same category.
By doing these, you will be comforted and find peace for your soul.. Left for you anyway because some said "we will not walk in it"
It is never too late to drop bad habit, it is never to late to change your wrong mentor, it is never too late to reverse your bad inspiration, it will only be late if you left the decision file untouched on your table.
