The Beginning

You'd been stuck in this boring hell hole for 3 weeks and it was already driving you insane. In fact your failure to cooperate had seen you moved into the high security section of the prison. All of this because you decided to comment on a racist remark a certain celebrity said. The world had gone mad. You'd just been introduced to your new cell and told your cell mate would join you shortly. Great, two people left in a small space alone for most of the day every day until they die. Sounds similar to marriage.

It didn't take very long until your roommate was thrown in with you, you had been expecting someone who was just as irrelevant as you and didn't overly belong in prison. But no. Oh no. Your roommate turned out to be the one, the only, ImAllexx. You held back a gasp as the door was closed, leaving you both alone in the cell. Alex gave you a knowing look,

"A fan I guess" his tone was practically emotionless

"U-uh yes" you stuttered

"Well don't expect me to entertain you or any shit. Nothing could make this place bearable."

"Okay.." you were only slightly disappointed but you should have seen this coming, nothing would make a place like this better, it could suck the life out of anyone, and judging by the bags under Alex's eyes and his glum expression, it had already taken every ounce of happiness away from his soul.

You watched as he went over to one of the two beds and crawled into it.

"Uhm...Alex..?"

"What?"

"It's only 1pm"

"So?"

"Isn't it a little early to sleep?"

"The more I sleep the less time I have to be awake. I'd sleep for the rest of my life if I could"

"Wouldn't that just be dying?" you asked

"Yeah." The tired male replied as if it was nothing

You find yourself frowning and wishing you could find a way to make him feel better, who knows how long he had already been here, this place was known to drive people to...well to suicide. Before you knew it a soft snore filled the air, you looked over and saw Alex, fast asleep, snoring softly. You were thankful it was no longer silent, even if was only filled by a snore. Your thoughts began to race, were the others here? Maybe you could work together to find a way out. Would Alex be okay? And the final thought on your mind was whether you could grow close to him and ease his mind and convince him that everything would be okay. You were determined to do that, even if you had to fight your way out of this hell hole to do so.
