Skyler Foster slides down at one of the pillars at the Astronomy tower. She screwed up. She was too late. That stupid frog is going to torture each of the Gryffindor friends and other innocent students that merely wanted to learn some defensive spells.

The pin that is fastened underneath her Prefect Badge feels like cold iron against living skin to her heart. The pin she is forced to wear, as she'd sworn her allegiance to the Ministry of Magic and to Umbridge.

The stupid frog, with her stupid degrees. That idiotic woman doesn't know the difference between order and chaos. Every Slytherin above the age of fourteen has sworn allegiance to the Ministry, and Skyler knows better than to think she's the only liar on the Inquisitorial Squad. Many of those children have Death Eater parents, and many of them have received a letter when their parents heard about the Squad.

Skyler strikes her blond hair out of her face, allowing the tears to roll down her cheeks. What will happen now? Harry, Hermione, Ron, Fred and George have been caught and so has the piece of parchment that gave all the names of the members. And the name of the secret club: Dumbledore's Army. Sure thing that Cornelius Fudge is in the castle right now, enjoying the satisfaction of having an allegation against professor Dumbledore.

Skyler has also no doubt that Dolores Umbridge is going to be Hogwarts' next Headmistress. Or Head-Toad, in this case. Even with Dumbledore gone, which he's obviously going to be, Skyler isn't going to let Umbridge take over the school.

"Time to get these things done the Muggle way," she states softly, not risking the fact that someone could hear her. The time of spying around and observing is officially over, Skyler has to face the facts; she's a demigoddess, and never will she yield against someone who wrongs the people of the Nine Realms. Skyler had failed to kill Einar Urikson once, granting him to roam free. No other creature will be allowed to do so, certainly not from Midgard, certainly not under her watch.

Skyler sees many pained faces as she enters the Great Hall the next morning. Pity flashes through her soul, as she sees two young Ravenclaw girls crying together, both clenching their hands.

"Hey Sky," Theodore Nott speaks up, as he pulls her with him to the other part of the Hall, toward the Slytherin table, "you missed a lot of action yesterday, Sky. It felt so good to catch Potty and his Blood-Traitor Gingers. You should've seen the Mudblood's eyes when Pansy finally cornered her and took her to Umbridge," the boy babbles, not noticing how Skyler wears a small frown and bites her bottom lip. She hates herself, for leaving Hermione like that. For leaving the twins like that. For leaving everyonelike that.

"Ah, there she is. Finally!" Draco exclaims, once he sees his girlfriend approach with Theo. Skyler numbly takes place next to him, and nods at everyone around them as a greeting.

"What's up with the princess? Why aren't you cheery like everyone else? The Ministry has won! That douchebag of a Dumbledore's gone and we're free to do whatever we want," Blaise Zabini jokes, making the entire table laugh.

"I got a message..." Skyler lies blankly, "My grandfather is considering retiring from the throne."

"So?" Draco asks confused, "That means your dad's becoming King, right?" Skyler looks down, feigning every expression that crosses her face.

"Your uncle then?" Blaise tries, again, Skyler declines by a tiny shake of her head, before looking up.

"My father doesn't want to live on Asgard. If Loki was to be king, civilians would start a civil war," Skyler starts, looking to her boyfriend, whose eyes were starting to widen, "Should my grandfather decide to retire from the throne, I'll be next in line."

"So then... you'll have to leave Hogwarts?" Daphne Greengrass suddenly speaks up, shocked by the news. Skyler merely looks at her before nodding.

This plan is working perfectly, Skyler thinks, it isn't even crossing their minds that I'll be leaving for the Headquarters from time to time. They'll think I'm in Asgard.

"Can't there be any kind of compromise?" Pansy asks quietly from Skyler's other side.

"There are two," Skyler answers directly, "my first option is to marry a man of the nobilities' choice and leave him on the throne whilst I continue my education here..."

"That better not be happening!" Draco shouts, rising from his seat. Skyler gives him a glare and he quickly sits down.

"Glad you decided that for me," Skyler frowns, "and of course I'm not going for a noble. I hate those gits."

"What's your second option?" Theo asks curiously.

Skyler shrugs, "I chose a regent who I find trustworthy and take the throne once I turn eighteen."

"I dare to say you'll chose your second," Daphne states with a smirk.

"How did you even guess?" Skyler jokes.

"They're believing every single word I'm saying," Skyler states, as she looks at the faces of Sirius Black, Remus Lupin and Mad-Eye Moody.

"If you weren't already destined to be queen of Asgard, you'd make one hell of an Auror, Foster," Moody smirks.

Skyler announced her cover-up lies two weeks ago, and things had only gotten better. Her friends make sure that every day they spend together, is great. Though, Skyler feels guilty for playing them like this. She honestly likes to spend time with Blaise, Theo, Daphne and Draco... especially Draco.

"So, how long before the Malfoy seniors are going to invite you over again?" Sirius asks jokingly, causing Skyler to laugh.

"Lucius Malfoy hates me more than the plague, he's surely not going to invite me over again," she says, "but I do have another question... these guys, I feel like I'm starting to honestly like them again. They're great friends, and I really have fun with them. How long am I going to keep this cover up?"

"As long as is necessary, Skyler," Lupin answers directly.

"But," Skyler starts, "what if something really bad happens. Let's say, Umbridge goes even more crazy, and decides that she's going to torture students, to torture Ron, Hermione, Harry."

Sirius' face straightens by the mention of his godson, "then you curse that woman to hell, Sky. No matter what cover you blow, it's important that you must stay true to yourself. If these Slytherins are really your friends, they'll eventually understand you. Cunning but loyal, am I right?"

"Thanks, Sirius. That was the answer I needed."

"BLOODY HELL!" Tonks says, as she barges into the door of the living room, "you guys are never going to believe this – though, Sirius, you and Moony are going to think this is great..."

"Get over with it, Nymphadora," Moody growls, and the young woman glares at him, her hair turning slightly red. Skyler coughs and gains the Auror's attention once more.

"Oh, right. The Weasley twins just dropped Hogwarts," Tonks exclaims, receiving shocked looks from everyone, "but they did it with style. They stole their own brooms back and threw a whole lot of fireworks as they told Peeves – that annoying ghost – to give Umbridge hell!"

Skyler's eyes widen, "I think I might need to get back. See you guys later, and bye..."

"Good luck with your O.W. Ls, Sky!" Lupin yells after her, and Skyler groans. She'd forgotten about those exams.
