As Chat Noir starts to lay Ladybug down in his bed, he transforms. He lies down next to her wondering where she might live, in an apartment in the city, or even a bakery like Marinette. As Adrien starts dozing, Ladybug transforms into Marinette. Marinette wakes up and notices the room she is in. When Marinette looked over she was shocked to see Adrien asleep, beautifully. She had to get back to her house before morning and before Adrien woke up. As she transforms back in Ladybug, Adrien wakes up and sees her leaving through his window. Adrien got up to look for Plagg to transform and follow her, but he couldn't find Plagg.
It's almost like Plagg just disappeared into thin air, Adrien thought. Ladybug finally gets home and transforms back into Marinette, while setting Tikki down to rest she finds another kwami that she has never seen before, Plagg. Marinette was too tired to ask questions, she goes to bed and wakes up late in the day. She wakes up to a mad Tikki in her face. "Why is there another kwami her, Marinette?" Tikki whispered. Plagg comes over wondering where he is, "Tikki is that you?" Plagg asked. "Oh Plagg I didn't notice you without your cat body" Tikki says humorously. Marinette goes between them and asks "Why and how did you get here Plagg?" "I think I fell asleep in Ladybug's bag last night and brought me here" Plagg says. "Ad... Chat Noir must be looking for me" Plagg says. Marinette notices the time and gets ready for school.
Marinette hurries into the classroom without the teacher noticing her. Alya asks her why she was late again, Marinette says she stayed up really late and found something she has never noticed before. Adrien turns around and asks if Alya and Marinette wanted to join him and Nino for lunch. Adrien notices Marinette asleep and hears her say "Plagg the kwami is... Chat Noir's." Adrien asks to go to the restroom but grabs Marinette's bag. Marinette is still asleep and doesn't know that Adrien took her bag. When Adrien got into the restroom he hears more than just Plagg's voice. Plagg gets out of the bag and asks where Chat Noir was, thinking that he was talking to Marinette. Adrien is shocked and sees Tikki with Plagg wondering who she was. Tikki says "I am Mari... Ladybug's kwami." "Wait are you saying that Marinette is Ladybug?" Adrien asked.
"Wait are you saying that you are Chat Noir?" Tikki asked. Adrien shows Tikki his ring and points to Plagg. "Then, since you told me your identity, I have to tell you Ladybug's. It's... Marinette" Adrien starts pacing back and forth in the restroom. "Marinette is my Ladybug" said Adrien. "Marinette and Ladybug really like you and Chat Noir." Adrien goes back to class and wouldn't stop looking at Marinette. After class Adrien took Marinette's hand and walked to her house. Marinette didn't know what he was doing and she couldn't stop crushing.
"I know who you are Marinette" Adrien said. "What are you talking about Adrien?" Marinette said. "I'll tell you later, princess." Adrien said. As Adrien kissed Marinette's hand, Marinette ran inside to her room. Marinette found Tikki but couldn't find Plagg, "where is Plagg, Tikki?" Marinette asked. "While you were asleep in class, Adrien took your abg and found me" Tikki said. "Did you tell him who Ladybug was?" Marinette asked worried. "I am sorry Marinette, but yes I told him that you were Ladybug" Tikki said sadly. "But, Adrien is Chat Noir." Tikki says trying to make her feel better . "Tikki, I didn't want to know his identity" Marinette said in frustration. Marinette ignores Tikki and goes to her wall, starting to tear down all of Adrien's pictures and ripping them into pieces. It was dark out now. Chat Noir showed up at Marinette's window, when he walked in, he noticed that she had tore up magazine clippings everywhere. He picked up two pieces and put them together and saw that it was Adrien. He noticed glass on the floor from a picture frame with a picture of Adrien. He looked over to see Marinette awake and crying. "Marinette what is---" Chat said being interrupted. "Chat please get out, I don't want to see you" Marinette said crying. Chat tries to apologies but is interrupted again by Marinette yelling for him to get out.
The next morning at school Marinette ignores Adrien all day. "Marinette why haven't you talked to Adrien at all today?" "You usually talk to him and blush all the time, what is wrong" Alya asked. "I don't like him anymore Alya." Marinette said about to cry. Marinette walks to class with Alya, but sees Adrien at his seat. "Alya can we please sit somewhere else today?" Marinette said trying to ignore Adrien. "But Marinette, I want to sit by Nino" Alya said setting her stuff down behind Nino. "Fine, I'm going to go sit by Nathaniel" Marinette said trying to make Alya jealous. As Marinette sits down next Nathaniel, Adrien looks at her then Nathaniel.Adrien notices how Marinette ignores him and walks with Nathaniel all day.
Adrien walks up to Nathaniel and asks him "what's wrong with Marinette?" "I'm not sure but she said that somebody in our class had too many secrets." Nathaniel said with curiosity. "She said a name but I am not allowed to say unless Marinette allows it" Nathaniel said trying not to make it obvious who it was.Nathaniel leaves fats to catch up with Marinette, as Adrien starts to walk behind them he notices that Alya and Nino left. It was just Marinette and Nathaniel walking together, Adrien could feel Nathaniel's blushing from a mile away. Adrien interrupts their conversation by going between them. "Marinette, can you please tell me what I did wrong?" Adrien asked with worry on his face. "If you don't remember then fine, I don't want to see you" Marinette said in frustration, about to cry. Marinette grabs Nathaniel's hand and starts walking with him. When Marinette got home she sees her window open with Chat on the window edge.
He turns around and sees her crying, "Princess, what's wro---" Chat said being interrupted by Marinette. "How many time do I have to tell you dumb cat that I don't want to see you!" Marinette said yelling. Chat left without saying a word, when he got home he asked Plagg what he thought he did wrong. The next day there was something different about Marinette, she was rude and didn't listen to anyone not even Alya. Later there was a big akuma attack, Chat went to Marinette's house to ask for Ladybug's help. When he entered her room everything was destroyed all of the pictures torn down, all of the furniture was tipped over, even her sewing area that he was for sure that she loved. He looked all over for her but couldn't find her anywhere. After searching for Marinette, he remembered someone is akumatized and needs his help. He left Marinette's house, but once he saw who the villain was he could no longer remember who the real Ladybug was.
