Chapter 2: i hate shawn mendes

* Gracie's POV*

I walked in to school with my backpack flung over my shoulder and my head looking at my feet so nobody would try and pick on me. You can tell I'm not the type of girl to run over to her friends and talk about hot boys and things like that. Because, I don't have any friends. My best friend committed suicide last year and from then on I never talked to anybody. I usually just sit in the corner of the class room and draw on my notepad. My brother on the other hand is the total opposite. The girls practically drool over him and his friends. I walk past a group of girls talking about the latest fashion. I guess I wasn't looking where I was going because I soon found myself lying on the floor with my books scattered everywhere and people laughing at me. I tried to hold back the tears but I couldn't help it. I felt one roll down my cheek and then another. I slowly got up and ran to the bathroom. I opened a bathroom stall and locked the door behind me. I wiped up my tears away and took a deep breath. I opened the stall and walked over to the sink. I splashed some water on my face and grabbed my bag and left.

The bell finally rang and I closed my locker and walked to homeroom. When I got there I sat way at the back and slumped down in my chair. I started to look around the room. Popular girls, popular boys, geeks, and of course the one and only. Shawn Mendes. He's the high school bad boy that Every girl dreams of being the girl he knocks up next. Every girl thinks he's hot, cute, sexy, muscular, etc. but I only see him as a bitch. The only reason why I think that is because he bet up my brother 2 years ago. My brother didn't do anything! He just came over and started To tackle him. And besides he has a different girl everyday sitting on his lap at launch making out with him.so I don't get why people fall head over heels for him he's just a hot dude who tells every girl they look sexy at a party and tries to take her home. And that is why, I hate shawn mendes.
