Trapped

Book No.1

 Chapter 1

"Taylor time for school!" Mrs. Adams yelled up the stairs to her 16 year old daughter.

  "Do I have to go?" Taylor yelled back

   "Yes you have to go it is school, no skipping."

  

Taylor moaned as she rolled out of bed. Another day of pain and criticism Taylor thought to herself as she threw on her jacket.

   At school she sat in study hall with her face buried in her arms as her two bullied went off on her. When they saw she wasn't listening they grabbed her by the hair and pulled her head up to face theirs.

   Taylor ran home and locked herself in her room with tears streaming down her cheeks.

   "Tahaylor." Called her little 6 year old brother who still couldn't pronounce her name right yet

   "Go away Hayden." Taylor cried

   "But Tahaylor Mr. smiley is on"

   "I can't watch that right now. Just go away Hayden."

  Hayden looked at his feet and then put his cheek to her door.

   "I love you Tahaylor." Hayden said with his face still smooshed against the door.

  He headed the door click as Taylor opened it and hugged her baby brother.

   "I love you too Hayden" She choked down her tears

  Hayden kissed her on the cheek and then skipped down the stairs to go watch Mr. smiley.

  That boy is too sweet, too innocent to be related to something as ugly, and stupid as me Taylor thought as she looked in the mirror. Her mother started knocking pon the door and when Taylor didn't answer she started knocking louder.

   "What!!" Taylor yelled swinging the door open

   "Don't speak to your mother that way!" Her mother hissed "You have chores to do and I expect them to be done by the time I'm home!"

   "But mom-"

   "No buts! They will be done when I get home, and if they aren't you will be grounded. Do I make myself clear?"

   "Yes mom. I will have my chores done."

  After her mother left Taylor slammed her door and flopped on her bed crying.

  She got her chores done, tucked Hayden in, and herself as well. When her dad got home he was completely hammered and her mother wasn't in any better condition.

  On Taylors way to school the next morning she was spotted by her bullies, Maddie, and Devon. They grinned and walked over to her. She tried walking faster to get away from them but Devon grabbed her by the hood and pulled her back wards landing her on her butt.

   "Look what we have here Maddie." Devon grinned

   "Ya, a wimpy little troll." Maddie laughed

   "L-Leave me a-alone" Taylor begged

  "Oh, so we got a stutter box. eh?" Devon teased as Maddie kicked her in the side

   "No, no Maddie. Like this." Devon smiled and he kicked her in the side as well

  Taylor lay there knowing he at least cracked a few ribs. When she gained the strength to stand she stumbled home and fell down on the floor behind the door. Her father flung the door open still part of the way intoxicated sending it crashing into Taylor.
