Call for Japan

"A flight to Japan?!" Alex choked on her food as she talked on the phone.

"Yeah," her friend Akai admitted, and she could imagine the girl shrugging. "Something about preventing an assassination there,"

Alex let her mind wander into her schedules. It was difficult, as she still sometimes participated in events at Pigeonations, but also had to help Anghel with his manga series AND still went to Bay, her new school. Somehow, in the flurry of thoughts, she found room. "Yeah, cool. I'll tell my dad. See ya!" She smiled, swinging her arm in a howdy form.

"Kay," Akai said before hanging up. Alex chuckled to herself at Akai, who really wasn't the type to talk in general. Alex told her dad, who was actually okay with it since she had gone through 'the training'. Long story short, her troubled mother had sent her to a military environment for training because of Aaron. Aaron was her little brother who unfortunately was already dead at birth, but now followed Alex as a spirit.

"Alright, just pack your stuff," he dismissed her, reading over some clipboard.
