Chapter 28

Camila wanted to do some stuff before heading to dance rehearsal later in the afternoon, so Shawn and I decide to go out for lunch.

We were sitting in this little cute sandwich stop like 5 mins away from his apartment.

" I can't believe this is our last show." I said to Shawn, who is eating his sandwich.

" Better make this one count!" He winked at me.

We just started talking, and when we were about to pay the check, Hailey came up and huggged Shawn from behind.

Then she came and sat right next to him, " hey Shawnie boy." She smiled.

I was third wheeling hard .

" So Andrew did not tell me a lot, but he said that you have a show tonight?"

Shawn just boredly nodded is head.

Hailey grabbed his hand and whispered, " we're a couple, dont forget that."

Then he smiled brightly, " yeah babe, I was going to invite you to the show last night, but I totally forgot. it is in like 4 hours."

She kissed Shawn's cheeck, " great we can hang out til then."

I stood up, " I have to go to meet up with Camila, but I will see you guys at the show." I tried to smile.

" i'll I'll give you a ride." Shawn said sweetly.

" babe I dont think she needs a ride."

" i'll walk. its only 15 mins from here."

I walked out.

Camila, the dancers and I went through all the dances, then we went to go get ready and sooner then later it was show time.

I ran into Shawn before heading on stage, " good luck." I smiled and walked past him.

When Camila was singing Havana she stop right before the middle and handed me the mic, " I want you to sing." I was nervous but everyone was waiting.

" I knew it was him when he hugged me from behind

Then when she got done she said, " I'm so thankful for having friends on this tour like Kendall, Taylor Shawn Mendes!" Evryone clapped

She continued, " T-Swift and Baby K. I want to thank you, my wonderful back up dancers, and my band. I would like to say good job to Kendall for slaying that part in Havana! Good night everyone. Love you!" We all ran off the stage.

Up next, Shawn Mendes.

Shawn did his normal set lit but then at the end he had to say something.

" I have always performed with Jingle ball just like Camila and every year it gets a lot more fun. This year was different, this year was amazing because I met someone who is sweet, caring, kind, funny, goofy and talented. She is my favorite person in the world, and I would love to sing this song with her right here, right now. Please give a warm welcoming to Kendall O' Brien!"

I froze, Shawn? Shawn Mendes just said that I was his favorite person in the world! Before I could do anything Jake, Shawn security guard gave me a light push up to the stage.

Shawn grabbed my hand and lead me to the middle of the stage where he was standing.

By the end of it my hand was on Shawn's chest and his hands were holding my waist.

At the end everyone cheered and he gave me a huge hug.

We were all backstage and Shawn comes up to me with 5-10 white roses in his hands.

Everyone from his band, his friends, Camila's band and even Hailey were watching him and I.

" Kendall are amazing and I know you are so talented, so my manger and I would like to set up a thing with Camila and your self with having Camila being my opening act for my tour that starts in less then 30 days, and I was wondering if you could be my other opening act and also be there with Camila? Because you two are my best friends and I know tour life would suck without both of you there.... so will you go on tour with me?"

I hugged him and shouted, " yes! Yes! A hundred times, yes!" He spun me around.
