As soon as I walked into the house nyx was at the door dressed and ready for the field. "Hey man. we'll leave in like 20 minutes I just need to talk to grandma for a while."I explained to him. He nodded and sat back on the couch.
"Mom, you remember that girl I was messing around with before liv and I got serious about 2 months ago."I started off. "Yea Alyssa right, what about her?"she raised her eyebrows sensing something was up. "I just met up with her and she's allegedly pregnant and is insisting that it's mine so next week during fashion week I'm going to Atlanta for the checkup and to see if we can get a paternity test before it's born."I explained in what felt like one breath. "You need to tell liv right away even if it isn't yours you don't want to be caught in what looks like sneaking around with one of your flings."she shook her head. "I don't want to worry her if the baby isn't mine. So I need a favor, next Thursday can you watch nyx for me?"I asked her. "I don't feel comfortable doing this without Olivia knowing." "Mom. I will tell her eventually I just need to get through this doctors appointment. Please."I begged her. "You can't put me in that position jay. I love you but you're too old to be in situations like this, this is up to you."she put her hands up in surrender. "Thanks mom."I sighed in frustration and left.
I finally got nyx down to the field before they really started practice just so he could spend some time with Odell and run a few plays. Odell and I still have a somewhat rocky relationship we're cordial when it comes to nyx. "Go get warmed up with sterling I'll meet you out there."Odell greeted nyx. "Hey can I talk to you about something?" I hope he understands where I'm coming from because I'm sure he's been through something like this. "Yeah."he turned his attention to me. I began to explain my whole situation and by the looks of it he got where I was coming from. "Here's what you're gonna do, you're gonna go handle this with ole girl next Thursday get the baby tested as soon as possible. When the results get back tell liv everything."he laid out. "So you can watch him when I'm gone?"I reassured. "Yeah. Just be discreet and let me know how everything goes."he nodded. "Ight. I appreciate it."I shook his hand. "Yeah don't mention it."he said running back on the field.
We've been down at the field for a bout an hour now and nyx is still going, t's nice to he's passionate about football. As I watched him run up and down the sideline liv FaceTimes me from her shoot, she probably hungry. "How's everything?" She looked so bored. "I'm at my third fitting today. I'm exhausted And hungry."she whined laying back on the couch. "What you got on?"I brought my face closer to the phone. "Nothing."she posed in the mirror.

I let Odell know I was leaving for a minute because nyx wasn't ready to go so he could keep his eye out for him and went to picked up livs lunch.
