Chapter 1: Again?

        As the words fell from the old woman's mouth Jimin's world stopped. This wasn't the first time it happened, they had been "removed" from 6 different daycare's in 2 different towns. Jimin struggled to come up with a response.
"Could you, um, tell me why?" He asked in a quiet voice.

"Hoseok.. well he was playing with some girls and one of them dropped a toy that made a loud sound. He got scared and cried, which woke up Yoongi and then he got into a fight with those girls. This isn't the first time this has happened. We cannot allow this to keep happening. They aren't allowed here anymore." She says in an annoyed tone.

"But that's what kids do, Ms. Kim. They get scared and they...they play rough." He pleaded.

"Sorry Mr. Park but we can't keep them." She said as she turned and walked back into the building. Jimin let out a long sigh as he walked back to his car where his kids were. Before getting in his car he checked his watch. Just 3 hours before he had to work.

"Dada why sad?" Hoseok said. Jimin chuckled. His Seokie had always been perceptive and caring.

"I'm not sad, baby. I'm just tried and hungry." He responds.

"Did that day'are not 'ant me and Yoon?" He says with a small voice.

"Yeah... they just don't see how special my boys are. In fact, my boys are so special I'm going to treat them to hot chocolate." Jimin says with confident smile. This seemed to wake up the sleeping Yoongi.

"Wit' wream?" Yoongi says with a sleepy smile. Jimin chuckles hearing his baby's sleepy slur.

"It's cream baby, but yes." Jimin giggles out.

"Seokie stop whining, I'm sure they'll be here in a minute." Jimin says to the toddler bouncing and whining in his seat. He pouts but listens nonetheless. Yoongi is sitting in his lap coloring the 2-paged book the waiter gave him. Yoongi has always been quiet and calm, but very protective of him and Seokie. 

Just as Jimin was about to check his watch his phone rang...it was his boss. He picked it up without a moment of hesitation.

"This is Jimin." He says with polite tone.

"Change of plans. Class meets in an hour"

"I was just about to call you about that..I need today off or I'm going to be just a little late, sir?" He responds in a hushed tone.

"Jimin, I know that it is hard being a single dad but I cannot just keep giving you excuses. You will be in today on time or I'll have to let you go."

"I understand sir." Jimin says hanging up. A silent tear runs down his face and before he could wipe it away two small hands wiped it for him. He looked up to see Yoongi smiling at him as well as Hoseok who had reached across the table just to help. 

He smiled back; his worries instantly vanishing.

"Excuse me," Jimin looked up to see their waiter. "Here are you're coco's and Iced Americano." He said as he placed them down.

"Thanks." Jimin smiles up at the waiter, before looking down at his boys. "What do we say, boys?" Jimin urged them as they stared down their drinks.

"T'ank you!" They both sang. The waiter cooed at them. 

Then...oddly he sat next to Jimin.

"I'm sorry but I just couldn't help but overhear your problem, sir. I know I'm a stranger but I might be able to help. I am a certified baby sister." He said, reaching in his apron and showing Jimin his card. "I have 3 mores hours left on my shift but if you take them to my house, my roommate is there and don't worry he is qualified too! He grew up the oldest so he has babysat a lot. Plus, he babysits his sisters daughter." The man says in a rushed way. Jimin just stares at him in astonishment.

"Why would you want to help...me?" He says quietly.

"Well, because I like children and your obviously trying your hardest. This is just a way to thank you for showing dads can be great parents too!" He sang innocently.

"I'm not great but I try! I'll take you up on your offer. I'm park Jimin." Jimin says extending his arm for a friendly hand shake.

"I'm Kim Seokjin!" He responds returning the friendly handshake. For a minute the world seemed a little less hectic. For once it seemed like the world wasn't against him. As the boys drank their Coco Seokjin hyung kept coming back to talk to them. The boys smiled and laughed at their new found uncle's crazy ways. 

Yeah, the world wasn't against him. Maybe it was finally rooting for him.
