ROSE'S P.O.V

The cold night breeze swept across my face making me shudder underneath the night sky, my dad was walking near me holding my hand, making sure i was near him so he can take me to the big building i would call my new home until my dad comes back from Military University, he was quite young because he was only 18 when he became a dad, now he's 34 and here i am being 17

my coat was till mid thigh and my leggings were not helping to keep my legs warm from the cold air, the only noise being heared is the air hitting the tree's and our footsteps that are on the same speed

We walked to the left and right there was a grey building with flowers Peeking out of the windows, the top of the building were bricks while the lower part was Cement, my eyes just stayed on the building that was looking kind of..

"Here it is" dad said

"Its, big." I said glancing at him

"Okay, now remember what i told you, always listen to ms.garcia, she'll be the only one you can trust the most, dont get yourself into trouble and dont let any boy get n-" i cut my dad before he starts to ramble

"I know dad, you said it about a million times" i said rolling my eyes playfully but then smiling, he smiled and i can see the tears in his eyes, i'm going to miss him so much

"I love you sweet pea's" he says bringing me into a hug, i bit my lip so i wont let out a tear but that seemed to only make my eyes more glossy

"I love you too dad" i mumble nuzzling my head into his chest, he kissed my head and pulled away

"I've got to go to the airport in.." He looks down to his watch then back up to me "half an hour" he frowns, i nod and hug him one more time and he walks me to the building where a middle aged woman is standing, when she see's us a smile plants onto her Stretched face because of her tight bun on her head, the dark red lipgloss on her thin lips just makes her Intimidating in some odd way

I glance at my dad who does the same to me

"Uh, mr. Rodriguez , nice to see you again, it has been, what? 2 years Since I last saw you" she says with her accent thats deep, giving my dad a smile with her eyes Squinted she looks down to me then back to my dad

"Nice to see you mrs.henderson, and yes its been a long time since we last saw" my dad laughs just to seem nice, i can tell its a fake laugh, everything here in london is so weird and different from the canada, i wonder if their are any Canadian girls or boys here too?

"This is my daughter rose, rose this is mrs.henderson" my dad says

"Hi" i say Casually, she nods to me letting a weak smile apear on her tall face

"Hello darling" she says, in some awkward way, it seems like she's faking her niceness , niceness is a word right?

"She looks just like her mother" mrs.henderson says, i look at my dad and he's smiling at me

"Yeah, she does" my dad says petting my head like im a child, if you're wondering, my mom is dead, she died when i was born, its sad to know i have been growing up on my own, no role model in my life, but my dad has been helping me to act girlish instead of doing what he does as a man, he's tried dating other woman but never finds the one, i guess my mom was perfect to him, when i grew up he would'nt talk about her, every single time i asked him about her he would change the subject, the only things i know about her are that she was 17 and turning 18, on the night of her birthday she found out she was pregnant with me, oh and her name is nicole, thats it thats everything i know, but someday i'll know every thing about her, someday.
