Chapter 6 : Beach Trouble and the Second Badge

"Paul?"

"Hmm. Have a Pokémon battle with me." He repeated.

Noticing someone talking to its trainer, Glaceon, Sylveon, Blastoise and Emolga stood in front of Yue in a protective way.

"Fine. One-on-one?"

"Whatever you want White."

"That nickname again Paul? It's been two years, looks like you haven't change at all." Yue said as she frowned. Does he still give his Pokémon a hard time?

"Just battle me."

"Yeah, yeah. You're too impatient."

Yue stood up while Delphox who was wide awake, followed its trainer and stood besides her.

"Del." Delphox said, as if asking Yue to choose it for battle. The young trainer smiled. She haven't battled for a long time with the first Pokémon she received from Prof. Sycamore.

"Delphox, your on."

Blastoise, Glaceon, Sylveon and Emolga who stood in front stepped aside for the fox Pokémon.

Paul frowned and looked at Yue in distaste.

"What?" Yue asked in confusion, tilting her head to the side. Unknown to her, some of male teens on the sidelines kept staring at her, but to be specific, her body.

Noticing this, all of Yue's Pokémon growled in warning. Even the girlfriends of some of the teens hit them in embarrassment and admonition.

"Stop staring at her! You jerk! I can't believe you're actually checking out a girl while YOU'RE girlfriend is beside you!"

"Tsk. Change your outfit White." Paul said in irritation. Yue blinked her eyes thrice. She doesn't understand what Paul wants. This isn't usually his attitude. Before, Paul doesn't even care what you wear as long as the two of you battles. Heck! He won't even talk to you if he knows you aren't worth of his time.

"Why? Isn't it normal to wear swimsuit on the beach? Why should I change?"

"An oblivious and stupid person like you can't understand the effect you have. Change. You look ugly that it's hurting my eyes."

Yue looked at Paul in annoyance. She also felt a bit hurt of what the purple-haired teen said. Who wouldn't? One of a girl's quality they are most proud of are their beauty, and to tell you that you are ugly face to face with so many people around hurt Yue's feelings. Am I that ugly to hurt his eyes? I guess he didn't change at all.

"Fine. Wait here." Instead of arguing with Paul, she will do what the purple-haired teen wants.

Just as Yue turned around, a large net appeared out of nowhere and landed on top of her Pokémon, trapping them. All of her Pokémon cried in alarm causing Yue to turn back and ran towards them.

"Oh my! Blastoise! Delphox! Emolga! Glaceon! Sylveon!"

Yue tried to pull the net to free them, but it was too thick and heavy. A petite person like her can't do anything at all. The net was attached to a familiar looking Meowth hot air balloon being maneuvered by a talking Meowth.

"Team Rocket! Release my Pokémon!" Yue cried. Suddenly, two voices spoke.

Jessie: Our research warns, prepare for trouble!

James: Our data's conclusive, so make it double!

Jessie: To protect the world from devastation!
