Years of fighting between two very different kinds people. The Empress of the Black Knights, a banished Devil that wished to use her power to bring the surrounding towns and tribes under her control. The Blue Wings, let by their Queen in the hopes of finally bringing peace to their land. No sort of peaceful resolution ever presented itself, until a Black Knight rode into the heart of Blue Wing territory. He willingly surrendered and gave them a letter, a letter from the Empress herself and it was for the Queens eyes only. When the letter made it to the Queen, she was horrified by what shs read but told no one. The Queen refused to tell anyone why she sent her only daughter with only two ceusaders to the Devils kingdom and it broke her heart. When the Princess arrived, she wasnt greated with arrows and swords as she expected, she was greated by a woman, dressed in a dark red dress and small golden peices covering it. She spoke softly as she lead the Princess to the castle.
On the way, the Princess was finally able to see the famed kingsom for herself. Children playing in the streets, not many guards around, but what supprises her most, the people were happy. When theu reach the castle, the Princess put on a hard face but when the doors opened, there was a party going on. Many of the wealthy people were drinking and having a good time, the Princess on the other hand, was taken twords a platform that overlooked the party. Up there, was the Empress. The Princess never saw her in person before but she couldnt deny that was was beautiful and nor could the Empress to her. Then, the woman left and took the crusaders with her, leaving just the two.
"Hello Princess Amari, its a pleasure to finally meet you." The Empress says with a smile as she stands up and turns to face her. "Greetings Empress." Fareeha says with a bow. The Empress very quickly holds out her hand and gives her a rather icy stare. "Please, we dont do that here." She says as she takes a few steps closer to her. So, Princess, would you like a drink? You must be parched after such a long journey." The Empress says with a soft smile. The Princess looks at her, knowing that it is this womans fault that so many good people have died, but, she couldnt say it to her face. "Please." She replies and the Empress smiles before moving her fingers in a strange way and making the tips of her fingers have a soft red glow. She then points her hand at the doors and a woman carrying two drinks walks in. "Thank you." They both say to her as she makes her exit. Fareeha knew from years of fighting that the Empress did have magical powers. She only ever fought with them once and that was to defend the castle. It was... terrifying to those who opposed her and inspiring to those who fought with her. The Empress looked Fareeha up and down, honestly admiring her figure but also looking for weapons. "Im suprised the Queen sent you insted of comming herself." Fareeha, at first was suprised about that herself. "She had other important things to do." Fareeha replied. With that short response, it became clear to the Empress that she was not interested in the small talk but, the Empress was. "Please, follow me." She says as she leads the Princess through the doors and down to the party below. To Fareeha, the party remimded her of the ones that her family used to have when she was younger, the food the drinks and the music all reminded her of it as she followed the Empress to the center of the croud. The partygoers gave them space and was sure to not bump into them as they continued to have a good time, dancing and listening to music. When the Empress raised her hand into the air, the fun music stopped and a slower, more formal song came. The Empress extened her hand to the Princess and smiled. "May I have a dance?" The Princess wasnt looking for this, she wanted to know just what it waa that this woman wanted from her and why she was even here but the only way to get her answers, seamed to be from going along with the Empress.
Fareeha extended her hand, took the Empresses and pulled her in. It was not Fareehas first time dancing with a woman so it came to her easily to dance with the Empress. "Do you have these kinds of partys often?" Fareehas asks. The question seamed to please the Empress. "Yes, it keeps the men motivated and the women happy. Do you have parties back home?" The subject was... touchy to say the least. The partys all stopped when her father was killed yeara ago, he had always been the life of the party. Drinkng, laughing, getting into little fights with his men. Fareeha missrd those times. "No, not sence fathers passing." The Empress seamed suprised by the words. "Im sorry to hear that."
The rest of the dance was quiet between the two, each of them thinking about different ways to ask eachother questions but neither spoke up. When the music finally stopped, The Empress kept hold of Fareehas hand, and lead her away from everything, back to the balcony. Fareeha walked past the chairs and to the railing where she watched the people continue to party as they were before they joined for a dance. The Empress on the other hand, took a seat. It was finally time to get down to business.
