Bea's pov:

We were sitting in the lunch room together when Quinn entered with another girl looking her age, my mouth hung open at her smile.

I turned to Jeffy who was choking on his sandwich he was eating to look like a human and looked at them with wide eyes, the other girl seemed to notice us and asked something of Quinn who was complaining as the girl walked over.

"Hi there, I heard some pack wolves bother you?"

"Don't sit down!" Quinn said but the girl didn't care at all.

"Quinn calm, what could happen? I'd kill them and make anyone forget I did it in a second." The girl smiled sending a shiver down my back.

"Mo--Alexis I didn't even want you to be tagging along."

"I can't leave you alone can I?"

"Jeffy you alive?" I asked him.

"Yes! I mean yes it just.... You?"

"Me." The girl said with a smirk.

"When?" What are they talking about?

"Yesterday."

"How?"

"Fled."

"Why?"

"The promise has been broken." His face turned grim like hers and Quinn's. "Anyhow I'm Alexis and just wanted to make sure to tell you guys that one word and those wolves bothering you will be punished, now Quinn sit down and see you later."

"Jesus." Quinn whispered as Alexis quickly sat her down and zipped away.

"So she is really?" Jeffy asked and Quinn actually smiled and nodded at him.

"Can we have explanations here??" Mars voiced my thoughts.

"Well I guess I should talk or you'll annoy me later.... For a start you got to know I'm a blood wolf for this to make sense."

"Oh that's why you bleed and cracked when he hit you."

"Yeah that's why but anyhow there was a war twenty-five years ago because my father who's a lunatic wanted to own my mother to try to recreate our race but twenty-five years he had her one three were born alive from which two are twins but that doesn't matter so there was this war and my mother agreed to go with him if he didn't hurt the pack anymore and left it alone, he agreed, Max is my mother's true mate and she thought she had died until not long ago."

"How is that all important?" I asked a bit annoyed.

"Jeffy here was part of that war and the girl that left before was my mother." Everyone's mouth but Jeffy' and hers fell open.

"What she looked so young!"

"Well Nico blood wolves grow up but stop ageing at eighteen years old she's older than 5000 years and part of the first blood wolves to have ever walked the earth just like my monster for a father."

"So you don't get along with daddy?" I tried irritating her but to my surprise Jeffy was the one looking the angriest of the two.

"Bea I love you but do not talk of that despicable man so lightly."

"Yeah you don't want to know what he is capable of but hey mom is here since war is coming."

Alexis' pov:

I had not met Max ever since I came back, I didn't want to believe she was alive despite me smelling her and feeling the bond created when I made her that subspecies.
