Harry and Ciara wished they had about eight more eyes to take in everything around them. There were shops lined up and down the streets, filled with objects that they had never seen before. Cauldrons were stacked outside the nearest shop. Cauldrons--All Sizes--Copper, Brass, Pewter, Silver--Self-Stirring--Collapsible, said a sign hanging over them.

Before either of the could run to the nearest window to see what the shop was selling, Hagrid steered them away from all the shops, mumbling, "We need to get yer money." They walked a little while longer, staring in awe at Eeylops Owl Emporium, Ollivanders, and a shop full of thing for something called 'Quidditch'. They would have stood there forever if it wasn't for Hagrid.

"Gringotts", Hagrid huffed out from behind them. Gringotts was a beautiful snowy white building that towered over the other little shops. Standing beside its burnished bronze doors, wearing a uniform of scarlet and gold, was--

"Yeah, that's a Goblin", Hagrid said in a hushed whisper as they walked the white, stone steps. The Goblin before them was about a head shorter that Harry and Ciara (both evidence of the malnutrition they had suffered through). He had a swarthy, clever face, a pointed beard and, had long fingers and feet. He bowed to them a gesture to the doors before they walked inside. Now they were facing a pair of silver doors with an odd engraving in them. It took Ciara and Harry both a moment to realize that it was a warning.

Enter, stranger, but take heed,
Of what awaits the sin of greed,
For those who take, but do not earn,
Must pay most dearly in their turn.
So if you seek beneath our floors,
A treasure that was never yours,
Thief, you have been warned, beware,
Of finding more than treasure there.

Hagrid pointed at the engravings, "Like I said, Yeh'd be mad ter try an' rob it." Two other Goblins bowed to them before opening the silver doors that lead to a marble hall. About a hundred more Goblins were working there, sitting on high stools behind a long counter, scribbling away onto parchment, weight coins on brass scales (which Ciara couldn't see the point in) and examining various stones through eyeglasses.

There were other doors leading down to different hallways, but after reading the message on the door, Ciara was to scared to ask any questions. Hagrid pulled Ciara and Harry up to one of the numerous counters there. "Morning", Hagrid said to the Goblin, "We've come to take some money out of Mr. Harry Potter and Miss Ciara Riddle's vault."

The scratching sound stopped and the Goblin peared over the counter at Ciara and Harry, almost giving them the stink eye, "You have his key, sir?" Hagrid nodded, "Got it in here somewhere." Hagrid started emptying his pockets onto the counter, scattering a handful of moldy dog biscuits over the goblin's book of numbers. The goblin wrinkled his nose and Ciara was almost afraid to ask why Hagrid had moldy dog biscuits in his pockets.

"Got one", Hagrid called as he placed a key onto the counter, "That's Mr. Harry Potter's key." He kept digging around in his pockets looking for Ciara's key as the goblin examined Harry's key. It was a small silver key and, strange enough, the  top of the key was twisted in a way that made it look as though there was a lion on top of the key.
