An hour version of "The Night We Met" by Lord Huron. Fits well with the whole story, specifically why I chose it (: . Enjoy.

I entered the room looking for a good night. I found much more.
He touched me like I was an object, a toy. First it was just the tips of his fingers on my chin, then moving to my thigh, and it got worse as the minutes passed. I was uncomfortable, I was scared, I couldn't move. It was obvious that I was hurting and my dignity was being stripped away from me, and no one was doing anything about it. Then you showed up. You punched him square in the face, I was near certain you'd broken his jaw. And then you looked at me, smiled and walked away. It took me what seemed like hours to get up to follow you.
"Thank you, I really..." I came to a realization that he was with someone. One of his friends, and I walked away. I went out to my car, and drove off into the night. I don't know where I was going, and I was too drunk to care. And then I noticed.
You were in a red mustang, and you literally chased me down the road. It frightened me for a moment, as I was drunk and still overcoming what had happened at the club. I pulled over in fear that you might have been some cop or someone trying to rob me, but when you came up to my window and offered me a ride home, you took a place in my heart that I didn't know was there.
I admit, it took me a long time to trust you. Even though you came to my apartment everyday and brought me coffee before I woke up, it took me while. I wasn't familiar with having people stick around like you did. And it scared me, I knew you wouldn't want to stay when you got to know me.
And I was right.

RomanceHe waited. Waited, and waited more. She never came. "Where are you, Danielle? Danielle?" He cried, "are you coming?" He heard her voice crack on the other side of the phone. "Let go, Colin. Let go." And with that, came the end of the call.
