Drift was unsure how late it was. He lifted his head up to the moon. It seemed to be sinking below the cloud of dust that surrounded everything. He thanked himself for wearing his dust mask. Despite the time, it was still hot. Too hot to wear a jumper of any sort, but the dust would get in his eyes if he didn't. He pulled out his phone to see a fair few texts.
'Where are you?'
'I'm sorry'
'Drift?'
'You know what, screw u'
Drift scowled. "Cheater." He muttered, ignoring them and sliding his phone back into his pocket. He started the engine to the cart. Soon, the only sound was the wheels rolling across the small rocks that littered the road. A road to nowhere. Exactly what Drift needed. He reached over and turned the radio on. He didn't know the song, but couldn't care less. He was tired, mad and wanted to be alone. He ran a hand through his hair, messing it up slightly. Wait. What was that? He stuck his head out of the cart, slowing down. "Dear god..." He slowly pulled up to a giant burger at the side of the road. It looked ridiculous in Drift's opinion. "Deserves to be tagged." He smirked and hopped out of the cart, going around to the back. He opened up the black bag only for the contents to be spilled onto the ground. He swore under his breath and picked up the colours he needed, leaving the rest on the ground. He pulled his hood up. Drift shook the can and started in the tag.
When his arms ached, he lowered them, stepping back to admire his work. "Absolutely shit." He whispered, shaking his head. Before he could do anything else, there was a faint crackling noise. It got louder and louder until it was ringing in his ears and surrounding him. "What the-" There was a bright blue flash then he was answered with darkness.
(It's super short but I'm sorry. The others will be around 1000 words)
