Sofia's pov

I heard screams from my dads room. I jerked up from my bed and quickly ran into the other room despise that I was only wearing a sports bra and shorts. I quickly opened the door and saw my dads chest opened up and his lungs was missing. I gagged at the sight. I looked over and saw a girl about my age with blood all over her. "Sofia..." She mumbled. "H-How do you know my name." I mumbled. "I've been watching you for a while. My name.. Is Nicole." She came closer to me with a dagger in her hand. "Now, you must die." She said as she raised her dagger. All of a sudden a gun shot was heard and Nicole's body was on the ground. She seemed dead. I kicked her a little and she didn't move. I looked over and saw my little brother with a dagger in his chest. I guess when he shot her she threw the dagger at him. I ran over to him and held onto him. "It will be ok Sofia........ Just... Go back to your mom... Just what you wanted." He mumbled and closed his eyes. Tears slipped through my eyes. I laid him down gently and covered him with a blanket. I heard sirens outside. It was the police. They raced in and went upstairs where I was with everyone else. One of the officers went to Nicole's body and checked her pulse. She didn't have one. One of them looked at me. "Did.. You kill her?" He asked. Before I could respond one said "she killed her! We've been searching this killer for years! And this little girl killed her!" I smiled. "Uh... Ya! I killed her!" The officer covered Nicole's body and looked over at me. "Do you have anywhere else to stay?" He asked. "Yes my mom." I responded. "Then I will take you there." He said as he escorted me to his car. I got in and rode to my moms house. Ok I did feel bad that I lied about killing her. But hey, it was a tiny lie.
