That night when we get back to the hotel Jackson and I are both hot and sweaty from being outside for so long, so I take a quick shower before Jackson jumps in. While he is in the shower I get a call from Dove and I answer it. "Hey."

"Hey, girl! How's Africa? Still madly in love?"

"Africa is just as beautiful as it was the first time."

"Are you sure that Jackson doesn't have something to do with that?"

"No, he doesn't... Maybe he does, but it is still amazing."

"What are you guys up to?"

"Jackson took me to Cape Town before tourist season starts up again."

"Really? You've been done there for a month and he's already taking you on a vacation?"

"We aren't going to be able to spend a lot of time together during tourist season and Jackson had some vacation time, so he thought why not?"

"He or we?"

"He actually. He planned everything and it's amazing." I put the phone down, putting Dove on speaker phone like I always do.

"Really? That's awesome. That and I didn't know that safari companies gave vacation time."

"I didn't either but I guess they do."

"That's amazing and really odd, but I wouldn't question it."

"I'm not." I laugh softly, "So how's everything back home?"

"Good. Emma is good, she is busy, busy, busy, like normal."

"That sounds like Emma."

"Yeah, I haven't had a lot going on. Just working for the most part." Dove goes on talking about everything that is going on and while I am listening, I kind of zone out. As I do I hear Jackson walk into the room, as I turn to him and smile I hear Dove shout, "IT WAS SO SMALL!" out of nowhere.

When she does I jump for the phone and Jackson starts laughing, "Hey, Dove, you're on speaking phone."

"Oh, shit. Jackson just walked in didn't he?"

"Yeah, he did."

"Hey, Jackson. Sorry, ignore that, I gotta get going."

Jackson walks over to me, "No, no, no, I wanna hear this."

"Jackson." I chuckle softly as Jackson takes the phone.

"Nah," Dove replies, "I gotta go anyway. Bye."

I take the phone back from Jackson, chuckling, "Bye, Dove."
