When I wake up the next morning I hear music and it sounds like it's very close. When I wake up and look around I see Jackson sitting at the table and playing. As I look over to him I smile and sit up, "Good morning."
"I didn't wake you did I?" Jackson stops playing.
I shake my head, "No, you didn't." I don't think he did, he was playing too quietly, I could barely hear him when I wake up.
"Good," Jackson smiles and starts again.
"I didn't know you brought the guitar."
"Why wouldn't I?"
"Mostly because I wasn't aware you could play that well."
"I've been practicing." Jackson smiles over to me.
"I can tell." I smile back over to him.
Jackson continues to strum, quietly. I sit up in the bed and smile over to him as I listen. Eventually, he starts to play a song that I recognize and he starts to sing.
"I've been a walking heartache.
I've made a mess of me.
The person that I've been lately.
Ain't who I wanna be.
But you stay here right beside me.
Watch as the storm goes through
And I need you.
'Cause God gave me you for the ups and downs.
God gave me you for the days of doubt.
For when I think I've lost my way.
There are no words here left to say, it's true.
God gave me you."
(God Gave Me You, By Blake Shelton.)Jackson smiles over to me and I blush brightly, "You're full of surprises aren't you Mr. Oz."
"I try to be." Jackson nods and puts the guitar down before stepping over to the bed. When he sets on the edge of the bed he gives me a soft kiss, placing his hands on my cheeks.
"Now don't tell me that was your idea of a seduction."
"Maybe it was," Jackson smirks. Before long the two of us laugh and he kisses me again.
